I. UNPLEASANT RETURN

Chapter 1

@UB | Monday, January 30, 2017 | 11 PM.

I SIPPED the margarita, one of the essentials cocktails here in UB or should I say Underworld Bar. I am here at the bar, don’t get me wrong, I was in a bar and was actually standing backward at the bar’s counter or the bar—where drinks are being serves by the bartender.

As much as I want hard drinks, my body won’t want that. I am so tired. I got just finished another mission and go eventually here at the bar after announcing it was already finished. Well, that’s me.

This bar is not hidden, was just named Underworld Bar because it was one of my what should I call in that dimwit? Nevertheless, this bar was her property. Probably, that weird old lady named this weird name. She does not even think what will be the netizens’ reaction once they’d saw the name.

I shrugged my shoulders. Why do I care then? Tss.

I looked at the appropriate direction where handsome and hotties were in. Gosh, this is what you call heaven. Even I am like this, I don’t do flings or a fuck buddy, I am already contented seeing handsome boys. Stare far away is already enough. However, if that boy will not eat the no attachment involved, surely. I am in. Who I am to say no? That’s a blessing.

My mouth hanged opened as a shoulder opposed my shoulder. Seems like that person intentionally impinged my shoulder.

What the fuck? The path were too wide for her to smash my shoulder!

I was not in the mood, I mean, if we were not in good mood, we tend to do harmful things to people who keep annoying us. And this is what I meant.

I closed my eyes as I exhaled deeply and turned my face at the bartender. I do not want any fight, especially at this ill-mannered human because it looks like there was no thrill if I fight back. No sense at all.

She kept annoying me. Since I am a good girl, I will not give her a glance or the attention she wants, I do not want a fight. Give me at least a rest!

“Hey!” she shouted again, this time, in my ear. I am a short-tempered girl so I won’t let this pass.

I rotated my sight—where I could see the girl who kept irritating me. Furthermore, I looked at her weary, saying, what the fuck do you want?

She crossed her arms and viewed me as if I was a trash that got escaped from the trash bin. She looked at me as if I was a servant while she was a princess. I rolled my eyes at her.

Honestly, I am not in the mood to have a war with someone. Especially at this state, I am not in the mood. I might end someone’s life immediately. Tss.

“Are you deaf?” she started, making my eyeballs go higher not because of pleasure but because of the stupidness of the doll in front of me.

“Am I?” instead of answering her, I questioned back. Just played safe.

“Maybe. I’ve been calling and shouting you yet you do not even pay any attention towards me!” she shouted so I acted that I was in shock. I formed my mouth in an O.

“Wrong. How can I answer you if I am a deaf?” I countered attack. You can’t even score nor have a one point to me. I grew up as a wise girl. Mayhap, I can still have mistakes regarding about making decisions and so far and so on.

I waited for a minute to hear something from her yet I failed. Tss. She did not answered me so I am here now, opening another topic. She started, I’ll finish it.

“What now?” I asked her. Since it’s been a couple of minutes before she answered. Tss. She’s possibly groping shitty answers.

“That’s my place,” she stagy said while pointing the chair where I was sitting with her index finger. Tss. I moved my head to my right shoulder and lowered it. “Sit or the place?” I asked, dully. My voice says it, I am not interested.

She was about so speak when I ahead at her first. “As far as I know, this place, oh by the way, you didn’t specific it so let me tell you this, doll. This place was not yours. I actually know who the hell owned this. Second yet the last, this sit? In my knowledge, this chair was not possessed by some psycho.” I then fixed my head as I looked at her playfully.

I tilted my head a bit.

“For the record, I was sitting there for almost a week now,” she replied. In my observation in her, she seems like a rebel daughter. A 19 years old girl who lost her sanity at a young age. How about me? Starting at a very young age, I already became a villain.

I looked at the bartender, he got it so he nodded at me. Oh, that’s why. The reason why he looks so worried the time I sat at the chair I used to sit.

I am not claiming this chair, I’m aware that there were these people who already sat at this chair yet every time I go here, this chair was the one I used to sit. No signs of a living person; the place was clear. I guess, I am that lucky enough here in UB. And, if the sit is already on someone’s butt, I will go to another chair. Basic. Besides, not bragging but I once served at this bar and since this bar was my second home and I often wear red clothes, I guess... I am somehow popular here.

I’d been lost for almost a week and this what will welcome me? Someone is attempting to rule here? And what? A stupid rebel ill-mannered doll? I meant, we were all equal here. No royalties, no wars. And I guess, another history of a remarkable fight would be marked in this bar if this doll would not stop.

However, I really don’t want a physical fight as of the moment. I’m not in my condition. Maybe next time, I’ll be available. And I will love if it is wild.

“First and foremost, no one owns any chair at UB. Second, you were not asking but let me tell you this, doll, I’ve been sitting here for almost my life and ain’t even claimed this. Like you are so cheap. A wooden chair, really? You will possess this, doll?” I responded playfully. She was about to speak when I stopped her. I looked at her emotionless, making her to shut up. Such a good doll. “I am not yet done talking. Where are your manners, doll?”

“Stop calling me doll!” she bursted, I grinned. “Why? You don’t want it?” I questioned. Such a feisty cat. I am starting to like it.

Since I am on a high ponytail, I titled my head and encircled my forefinger or my index finger at the tip of my hair.

I’m so gorgeous! I really love wearing a red dress with a high ponytail.

“I actually love it. However, it feels like I am so pretty when you called me that,” I laughed so hard after hearing her side. I even held my stomach.

“You are right.” I even appeared that I am thinking when I held my chin. Her lips arouse. I smiled secretly. Jackass.

“See? I am right. I really feel that I was alike as a goddess,” she self-conceit. I heaved my head while a smile plastered in my lips.

“May tama ka sa pagiging feelingera at etchusera, iha,” I shook my head with a sweet smile in my lips.

“What?” I chuckled right away she questioned that. Yeah, right. A jackass, spoiled brat and a rich kid.

“I said, you are right being a hypocrite, doll,” I translated. “I am not. I am confidently beautiful,” she even flipped her hair after saying those. As of the moment, I really chuckled as hard as a rock.

“You were so full of yourself, huh? You made me laugh so hard. You are so funny, iha! You can be the clown of a children’s party!” I responded. Sarcasm was visible in my tone. I even hit the table using my palm many times when I get near her.

She just made me laugh, nonsensical.

“What’s with the iha thingy? You called me doll and now iha?!” the girl yelled at me. Oh... a short-tempered female being, huh.

“You said that I should stop calling you doll so here I am, another endearment, iha,” I replied. I am somehow obedient so I granted her wish.

“You’re not my mother! Stop calling me any names!” she spouted at me then I frowned upon hearing her side. What a weak argument to attack mine.

“Yes. I am not your mother. I meant, who would love having a daughter who has a trashy attitude like you?” I grinned. Heaven!

Before she could say something, I approached her. “Hear this out.” I tapped her head before spinning around her then I sat. I sat obverse at her.

“There were two types of doll, the creepy and the beautiful one. In your case, you were the creepy one, iha. So don’t be full of yourself, aye?” then, I laughed so hard. Even our audience laughed.

“Am I creepy? So I creeps you out?” my laugh become louder as I looked at her emotionless.

If I were her, I won’t cause any issues like this. Currently, I know this shit is currently airing on social media. Or perhaps, me and her were on a facebook live. Who knows. So, would I let myself lost? To get embarrass? Of course, no.

“Yes, iha,” I replied. She laughed that seems like there was no tomorrow anymore, making me wince. “See? You are scared! Acting like a wild animal yet a prey. Acting so brave outside but afraid inside,” I coughed at her remarks.

She is so different. Kulang-kulang at sobra. Inane and half-witted.

“Creepy enough for me to kill you,” I added. I've seen how enraged she’s become. Feisty... I love it!

“You don’t have the rights to said that! They titled me as a bad gi—” I covered her mouth when my phone rang in the middle of our battle or mayhap, in the middle of her, delivering her words.

Tss.

I irritated grabbed the phone at the table. I already knew who the fuck will call at this moment. I knew that dipshit.

“What now?!” I began. Annoyance was visible at my voice. I roared like a hungry lion, ready to eat my prey; planning on how to evict this mannerless boy.

“Hi. Hi. Hi,” he started making me ran my palm in my face with harshness. Unhumorous.

“Say hello~” Tyron continued. “My middle finger salutes you,” the only words I said. I heard him chuckled. Psycho.

“My pleasure. When it is... the time rather where I can hear you saying fuck you actually?” he ceaseless blurted. Even he can’t see it, I raised my left arm’s middle finger. “Oh chill, I knew you were raising your middle fing—” his words were out of reach. The phone was now lost on my ear, same to my right hand. Someone snatched it.

I looked at the girl who took my phone. She was still here? I thought she already left because of embarrassment. Guess not. Still standing at my front like an idiot.

“You are so ill-mannered, iha.” After saying those, I grabbed my phone to her hands. I put it into loudspeaker then dropped it at the table. I am tackling the girl place then continued leaving a comment. “Oh, by the way you were still huh. You were so hard.”

I did not gave her any chance to speak. I spoke, again. Not minding how many times did she opened and closed her mouth to fight for her dignity. “What were you saying again? Repeat it again,” I challenged her. I am not leaving wars that was still unfinished.

“Okay. For you, you’re such a deaf so alright. They titled me as a bad girl. So whoever you are, you don—” again, in the second time around, she didn’t finish her words because that asshole Tyron interrupted.

“You are on a fight? Really? You just completed your quest that took a month and you are up again?!” I heard Tyron on the speaker. I rolled my eyes. I am ashamed in him. He likes ceaseless thing especially in his tasks. He wants loaded works. Tss.

“Shut up! Shut your mouth or I’ll rip your leg!” I shouted back. Guess what? He laughed. Yeah, a psycho.

“CAN YOU PLEASE STOP? I’M TALKING HERE!” the girl on the other hand roared at Tyron in the phone. Tyron and I laughed. We love this, a feisty enemy.

“Buckle up. Listen carefully.” I ahead. Sorry not sorry. “You are what? A bad girl?” she didn’t replied so I continued.

“Iha, sorry to say this but you are not a bad girl. You are just an ill-mannered doll, now, sit down.” I blew my invisible bangs while tapping the next chair on my left. Then I slowly walked towards her. She stood there dumbfounded.

“Now, ass up. See that door? Definitely. Walk through until you were at UB’s outside. Don’t be a rebel daughter, your parents are worrying about you, ig? Unless they don’t love you, of course, they won’t.” Then I winked at her. I grabbed my phone. Tyron was clapping his hand. How did and why did I bear with Tyron? If I just... how on hell can to do that ba kasi? If he wasn’t close enough to me, I really won’t befriend with him. So noisy. Tss!

“Treasure everything you have while it was still early, iha. I advised this because... maybe one day, you’ll blame yourself about everything that occurred, aye?” I added before going near her—this time, so close. I bit her ear that made her flinched. I am laughing while walking to get my exit. Psh. I hope she will wake from her shitty dream.

“So, what’s yours?” I asked Tyron. I nodded my head at the bouncer. I wedged my phone in my left arm and neck then I wore my leather jacket. Vice versa to what I did a while ago just to put in on the other arm.

“He was finding you, again. And expecting you. Maybe he got gossips about what have you done so he is giving you another quest,” I didn’t answer him. Instead, I hanged up the call.

The breeze of the wind embraced my body. I giggled.

I was about to open my car’s door since I already pinched the opening when a hand and a handkerchief cover my nose and mouth.

“Oh shit!” I cursed as my eyes became blurry. Here we go again.

My middle figure really salutes you, old lady. You’re a real mad person for increasing the chemicals you’re using.

I will go in there and why the fuck all of the things he could do to me, why the fuck this kidnap thing? Really?! How many times does he need to do this for him to stop?!

I groaned. I’m immune to this but I can’t help to get sleepy. He’s perhaps telling that old lady witch to multiply the chemicals even more to the point that I can’t resist it!

Fuck that old man! Fuck those two!
