PROLOGUE - SOUL

A mysterious winged creature limped through a very long corridor, a corridor that tested one's patience. As far as the eye could see, there was only darkness inside the corridor, a corridor that tormented every soul that entered it. One could never get out once they entered, unless HE willed it.

The creature walked with its body pressed against the wall to support its very weak body. Unknowingly, the right wing, which was also pressed against the wall, caused quite serious injuries. This was because the wall of the corridor was not smooth.

Its body was covered in wounds that it could not heal, even though it had activated the regeneration spell. Its wounds would not heal.

The gaze in its two eyes showed that this was the end of its life.

The creature finally fell after walking for a year without rest in the endless corridor.

"Damn it! I will make him pay! I promise, I will avenge all his actions!"

Tap - Tap - Tap - Tap

In the moments before its death, it heard the sound of footsteps approaching.

"What brings you here?" asked a mysterious entity.

The creature lying on the ground had no strength left to even lift its head, but upon hearing the voice, it knew who it was talking to.

"So.ul..give...me...soul, Night!"

"Wake up."

-

"Hey boy... wake up."

"Hmm... yawn... "

"Hey, wake up. We've arrived."

"Uhh, let me sleep a little longer," he replied, still groggy.

"But-"

"It's alright, let him sleep. Besides, we haven't left him that far from the carriage, just three meters away."

"But we still need to go inside, don't we?"

"Are you going to wait with him? Let me take care of everything."

"... No, I'll come with you. He'll be fine."

They both got off the horse carriage, carrying the vegetables they were going to sell to the collector. They left their one-year-old child sleeping in the carriage.

"The Demon's win, the king's the winner, everyone win, except the sinners. Before he dies, he met the Dream, the guard of night, for do the venge. But at what cost? But at what cost? He lost the most, he lost the most."

Someone could be heard humming inside a bar, their voice spilling out onto the streets. The sound reached the child's ears and woke him up.

"A song? It's been a long time since I heard one."

Slowly, he tried to stand up, then quietly climbed down from the carriage and searched for the source of the singing. However, he was distracted by something he had just seen. The air was cool, clean, fresh, peaceful, and calm. It was an environment he had never experienced before.

The buildings in the city had an old European style to them, and there were no vehicles like cars and motorcycles that caused pollution in the air. The only means of transportation were horse carriages of various types, pulled by different kinds of animals.

The creatures that lived in the city also varied in type. Elves, dwarves, ogres, orcs, anthropomorphic animals, humans, and others. The clothes they were wearing were very different from the clothes he often saw in his previous life. Even some of them carried sharp weapons and showed them off in public as if it were a common thing. But that's just how it is.

A dream world for those who worship fantasy, but not for the little child. It's a foreign world to them, they never knew such things existed. Even just to hear, read, and watch stories of fantasy.

Blond hair but would look whiter if seen up close, it's long enough to cover their ears and slightly past their eyebrows. Their eyes are red, their nose is pointed, their face is quite handsome, making those who see them feel very fond of the little child.

"What kind of world is this?! How could I be here?!! A dream?! But what dream made me realize and trapped me in this body for more than a year?! It's real, it seems like I've really died and reincarnated."

Amazement, confusion, and shock, that's what he feels right now. Jon, a 17-year-old teenage boy who was sleeping suddenly woke up in a different body. More precisely, he was reincarnated as a little child.
