When a war between America's people against their own government destroys all rules, laws, and any form of society, fourteen year old Elliott Sawyer resorts to a life of opioids, painkillers, and attempted suicides. He refuses to accept help from anyone even after multiple overdoses that is until he gets to know the sadistic accused murderer, Rory Gaspar, who unintentionally learns to love him.
