042 Don't bully the poor skeleton_1

"Welcome, uh, Mr. Skeleton."

Upon hearing the chime of the bell, Lanya hurried to the door and after bidding welcome, she saw the skeleton that had walked into the tavern.

A perfectly ordinary skeleton, the sort you could find in any graveyard if you dug up a grave, wrapped in a shabby piece of purple cloth.

The grey-white skull slowly turned, its dark empty eye sockets scanning the bar hall, and the skeleton's teeth chattered as it said,

"Is this a tavern?"

As a Necromancer, Lanya was quite accepting of skeletons and replied as if speaking to an ordinary person,

"Yes, welcome to the Emerald."

The skeleton scratched its skull, looking somewhat embarrassed.

"I can't drink, may I sit here for a while?"

Lanya turned her head to look at Lin Ge behind the bar, sending him an inquiring glance.

Lin Ge nodded slightly.

"Great, thank you. I've been alone in the desolate graveyard for so long, I haven't seen a living soul in ages."
