Leaving the Demon King City, Lin Ge's next destination was Iris's home, the Spider Cavern outside of Castalon City.

He wanted to ask Iris for a favor.

Lin Ge could have appeared directly in Iris's room, but out of courtesy, he decided to enter through the cavern's mouth for a normal visit.

He walked out the door and found himself right at the entrance of the Spider Cavern.

More than a month ago, the scene where he and Lanya were chased into the cave by Lizardmen assassins surfaced in his mind, prompting a smile on his lips.

That experience remained fresh in his memory.

Strolling into the cavern, the spiders inside automatically moved out of his way because he carried the scent of Iris.

On the way into the cave, he even saved a young female mage; when he found her, she was coated with fresh white sticky spider silk, and her robe was shredded by the blade legs of an elite spider. If it weren't for the thick, sticky spider silk, her robe probably would have fallen off long ago.
