Chapter 21

Isla gave up fighting; she had no chance of breaking out of this man's grasp. He was solid as a rock and broad as a barn. She didn't like the vulnerability of being in his arms, but since there wasn't anything she could do about it, she sat quietly.

Where was he taking her?

She didn't think he was going to kill her, if he was he would have done it already. But the uncertainty of her situation made it impossible to calm down. Her wolf didn't like their situation anymore than Isla, but she preferred it over being in Harry's grasp. Besides, she was quite curious about the man and his wolf.

Isla's wolf had been thrilled to be in the presence of another of her kind, and she liked this one a lot. He was powerful and knew what it meant to be a wolf.

Isla didn't care for him, since he was pushy, arrogant and very physical.

He wasn't afraid to try to intimidate her with his size, which was exactly what he had been doing when he'd pulled their bodies flush.
