"Where the fuck is the... oh never mind it. Whelp, there goes most of my SP." The entire third floor had a massive makeover.

Gone were the plain, boring stone rooms and empty pathways that once made up the nest. Now, if anyone stepped inside, they'd think they had entered an underground volcanic lair.

Iron-rich lava flowed through small crevices along the walls and floor, pooling at the very bottom of the nest, right inside Antara's chambers as sweltering heat flowed through the entire nest. As for the boring and gray stone, it was replaced with the chad and better-looking basalt rock, for the mere cost of 5350 SP.

One thing Alex had recently learned from Alexa, something that made him far more extravagant in spending SP on his dungeon, was that anything he bought for it would never disappear.

Take the 1,000 gallons of lava he had purchased, for example. No matter how much Antara consumed or how much he stored in his [Inventory], the dungeon would always replenish it, drawing in surrounding mana to recreate the lost lava. However, it would only ever restore up to 1,000 gallons, since that was the amount he had originally bought. The downside? The regeneration rate was slow, only about a gallon per hour was regenerated, IF the lava didn't decay naturally.

The same rule applied to the walls. From the customization options available, Alex had made the basalt rock 5 inches thick, not wanting to spend too much SP on the interior surfaces.

If he or Antara broke through the basalt, they would eventually reach the regular gray stone beneath. However, the dungeon wouldn't heal the broken sections, instead, it would gradually spread the basalt outward, replacing exposed stone until it reached the original 5-inch thickness. So Antara can constantly expand the nest and Alex doesn't have to constantly spend SP to add more basalt rock.

But you may think, oh, that's OP, because Alex can gather an infinite amount of lava and resell it to the [Shop]. But that's the thing, he can't sell anything that was made from his dungeon or the system. Well, he can sell, but will get nothing at all, so it's stupid to sell anything from the dungeon or system.

With his once 19,000 SP now reduced to just 353 SP, Alex watched as a steady stream of lava flowed throughout the entire 3rd floor. The pooled lava slowly decayed and regenerated within the sphere above the nest thanks to Alexa's modifications, creating a continuous loop.

But it wasn't just lava and rocks that Alex bought, there were new plant seeds inside his [Inventory] ready to grow in underground volcanic environments. Most of them came from ARK, as the game had the largest variety of modded flora capable of growing near lava, at least for now. A couple of thousand SP was spent on ARK.

For some extra firepower, but mostly for fun and future testing, Alex bought ten Fire Peashooter seeds from Plants vs. Zombies 2 at 1 SP each, which is very fucking cheap. And just for fun, he spent 300 SP on a Fire Chomper seed from PVZ: Garden Warfare.

[[I'll bold games and anime names to make it more clear what world I'm talking about. Comment if you do or don't agree with this. BTW, 10 USD = 1SP, if I can find the 'real' prices of the item, I'll try to make the item in the [Shop] have a similar SP cost.]]

Of course, he also bought dirt for the plants and made an extra room just for them. However, there was one major problem, there was no sunlight at all. The only light source on the 3rd floor was the soft, deep red glow of the flowing lava.

Alex may have forgotten the fact that his new plants need sunlight to grow. Fortunately, it was an easy fix, he could simply feed them sun energy from Sunny.

Now, all that was left was to give Antara her first job: making sure the new plants received the sun energy they needed. However, Alex only planted the PVZ plants as Sunny was still young and wouldn't produce much sun. The plants from ARK would be planted later on in the future.

Although it would have been better to place most of his new plants on the 1st floor, where there was plenty of sunlight and water, there was a problem. The 1st floor was a system-made dungeon template. That meant Alex didn't have permission to add anything that didn't meet specific requirements to the template.

However, since Sunny was one of Alex's summons, Alex could place him on the 1st floor and have Antara collect the sun energy. That way, she could feed it to the Fire Peashooter seeds and the Fire Chomper seed on the 3rd floor.

As Sunny disappeared from his side, Alex watched the cute little Sun Shroom reappear inside Orlu's home, right next to Kali, who was almost asleep. The moment Sunny appeared, she sensed the warm, fluffy aura beside her, stirring her awake. There was a flicker of surprise, and maybe even fear, in her eyes, but it quickly faded as Sunny let out a soft, happy coo.

With a small smile, Kali pulled Sunny into a tight hug and drifted back to sleep, holding him close. Making Sunny into her little teddy bear.

Looking at his other summons to see what they were doing. He saw them lazing around doing nothing, cuddling with each other as there wasn't much to do.

Seeing how bored his other summons were inside his inner realm, a dull space with nothing but a white sky, a translucent blue floor, and affinity crystals endlessly cycling element-less mana, Alex decided to let a few of them out. He summoned Zaryk, Absol, and Fluffles, releasing them onto the 1st floor. As his other two summons who were with him, were robots, they were in a deep sleep mode, so Alex just kept them in his inner realm.

[[Inner realm = Inside of Alex's Soul/Dungeon core]]

Fortunately, the mobs on the first floor instinctively recognized Alex's summons as part of him, so he didn't have to worry about any unnecessary fighting. However, he watched as they immediately dashed toward the village and settled in Orlu's "backyard", with Zaryk promptly uprooting the small garden Orlu's son had planted.

Alex sucked in a sharp breath. [Welp… not my problem right now.]

Closing the hologram, he lay back, well, as much as a formless ball of black goo could lay back. His Wendigo form was still in the process of reviving, with 17 more days remaining. At least his Death Angel would respawn in 4 days, that was pretty cool.

With the 3rd floor practically finished, the only thing left was for Antara to lay some eggs. But with only 353 SP left, there wasn't much else he could do.

He also had zero interest in raw dogging another all-nighter grinding magic training. So he exited his inner space and found his adorable daughter, Emi, fast asleep in sheep-patterned pajamas, that he bought because he's a good dad, with her face nestled snugly between Mika's large breasts.

Though the two were wrapped in a blanket, the contours of Mika's thick body were still visible. Silently thanking ROB for this view, Alex stopped peering from within the golden cube and closed his eyes.

I'll later post an auxiliary chapter of the rules and functions of the system and the novel itself.
