Chapter 791 "DC World"

"Petrificus Totalus." Seeing the leather-clad woman rushing towards him as soon as she opened her eyes, Jerry had no choice but to cast a full-body binding spell on her, fixing her in place.

"My name is Jerry Carmen; you can call me Jerry. I don't like others touching my body. If I untie the magic for you, and you don't keep quiet, I will bind you for a whole night."

After saying that, Jerry flicked his tail and released the spell on the leather-clad woman.

This time, the leather-clad woman finally behaved and didn't rush towards Jerry again, "My name is Patience Phillips. You are so cute. Can I hug you?" She asked while looking at Jerry with an alluring smile.

A kitten that can fly, do magic, and talk—it was really hard for her, a cat lover, to refuse. She really wanted to hold him in her arms and cuddle him.

"No!" Jerry remarked firmly.

Jerry could see Patience's thoughts and, after directly refusing, continued to say, "But I can stay at your house for a few days, if you are willing. Don't worry, I will give you the corresponding reward."

As for this new world, he already had a guess in his mind through the Egyptian cat god just now. If his guess was correct, he would know Patience's identity.

Now that his strength had only partially recovered, it was inconvenient for him to do many things.

Going to Patience's house would verify his guess and help with his later plans to a certain extent.

"Yes, yes! Just follow me for a while, and we'll be home soon!" Patience exclaimed.

Hearing Jerry say that he wanted to stay at her house for a few days, Patience's eyes lit up.

She nodded in agreement and quickly went to pick up the cloth bags full of jewelry from the two robbers.

Jerry's lips twitched when he saw this, but it didn't stop her.

The little red star had already been transferred to his account and transformed into magic power. Whether Patience took the jewelry or not didn't matter to him.

She hung the two bags of jewelry on her cool motorcycle parked at the door. Seeing Jerry jump to the front of the bike and lie down, Patience twisted the throttle, and the black motorcycle rushed out like lightning.

At midnight, in an apartment, Patience arrived home with the jewelry, utterly exhausted. She poured the jewelry onto the bed and fell asleep before she had time to appreciate it.

"It seems that the power and her body have not yet fully integrated," Jerry mused.

Jerry observed Patience's condition and immediately realized that the power of the Egyptian cat god had not yet fully integrated with her.

However, he didn't dwell on it. Instead, he jumped onto the table in the apartment, opened the notebook on the table, and began quickly checking the news and history of various places.

Ten minutes later, Jerry closed the laptop and sighed, "Just as I thought, it's really the DC world!"

Jerry couldn't think of any other world with a similar level of power, god systems, and worldviews as Marvel, except for DC.

When he checked the world map and saw major countries and cities, he noticed Gotham and Metropolis. That made him 90% sure of his guess.

"Out of everything… DC world? This is going to be hard…" Jerry thought to himself.

These two cities don't exist in the normal world; they only exist in the DC universe.

When he saw news about Batman fighting crime in Gotham, he was completely sure.

"So, this must be Catwoman!" After turning off the computer, Jerry looked at Patience curled up on the bed and muttered to himself.

Meanwhile, Jerry's real body, back home in Queens in the main Marvel world, used his wristband to search for all DC-related comics and movies. This was happening while Jerry's soul turned off the computer in the DC world.

Jerry didn't need to travel to other worlds to find DC stories because they already existed in the Marvel world. This was evident when Ikaris of the Eternals was mistaken for Superman by ordinary people.

The next morning, in a small apartment.

"Oh, God, how could this happen? How could I do such a thing?" Patience woke up, looked at the jewels on the bed, and recalled the crazy things she had done the previous night. She immediately pulled her hair and screamed in disbelief.

Originally a very conservative painter, Patience had taken a job at a cosmetics company as an advertising designer to make ends meet, living an ordinary and unsatisfying life day after day.

The night before last, due to a problem with an express delivery, she had to go to the company's production base to deliver the newly designed advertising drawings herself.

For some reason, she ended up being chased by two armed individuals. During her escape, she fell into a drainage channel, was washed into the river, and lost consciousness.

When she woke up, she found herself in the muddy land by the river.

After returning home and getting a good night's sleep, she woke up the next day feeling that her body had undergone some magical changes. However, she didn't pay much attention to it as she was in a rush to get to work.

That night, she was awakened by a wild party next door just after she had fallen asleep. For some reason, a hidden part of her personality suddenly emerged.

Instead of her usual habit of swallowing her anger, she went straight to the door. When negotiations failed, she kicked down the door, poured out all the party's wine, broke every speaker, and gave the party host a severe lesson.

After the party, she remembered the jewelry store she passed by daily, which she had always been fascinated with.

A bold idea immediately came to her mind. She went home, changed into the black, sexy leather jacket she had never dared to wear, borrowed her neighbor's motorcycle, and began her first crime spree.

"You shouldn't call on God. You should call on Bastet. After all, she is the one who gave you rebirth," Jerry, who had been meditating on the table, was awakened by Catwoman's scream. He opened his eyes and said to her.

"Ouch, that hurts!" When Catwoman heard Jerry's words, a sudden realization hit her, and she stepped back in fear, accidentally falling off her bed.

Last night, seeing a cat that could talk, perform magic, and fly, she thought it was cute and wanted to keep it. But now, back to her normal self, she couldn't quite accept such a bizarre creature. As a normal person, she found it difficult to comprehend Jerry's existence.

After a moment, she cautiously peeked out from under the bed with her messy hair.

"Your name is Jerry, right? Who is this Bastet you mentioned? And what do you mean by 'giving me a new life'?"

"Bastet is the Egyptian cat goddess. Her incarnation on Earth is a tabby cat, which you should have seen. You were dead when you were washed into the river the night before last. She resurrected you with her divine power."

"Don't ask me how I know. She appeared after I knocked you out last night and explained everything. Because of her, I didn't treat you as just another criminal. So, you should really thank her." Jerry stood up from his crouched position, stretched instinctively, and recounted the whole story to Catwoman.
