Having risen to unimaginable heights through battling many gates over the years, his glory was renowned throughout the world and was said to be one of the few hunters that would pave the path to a brighter future for their generation.

Yet, that was all thrown out of the window.

Almost a decade after The Great Awakening which shook the entirety of Terra, the Hunter "Ace" stood before many people as he announced something that no one could've ever imagined.

"Today, I will be announcing my retirement."

Yes. That day marked the end of one Hunter's journey.

Though, it was not out of his own free will.

Levelling by the Sidelines

Stepping foot into the dungeon, the party was immediately greeted by the sight of a beautiful and lush green garden, almost fitting for a person of high status to have. The hedges in the area were well-trimmed and the flowers produced a pleasant floral scent, easing the minds of those who smell it.

"W-Woah..." Derek blinked, staring at the scene before him in shock. "This place is pretty..."

The dungeon's environment almost felt as if it came right out of a fairy tale. If it wasn't for the fact that there were many broken structures and debris in the background, no one would expect that monsters were lurking in every corner.

"Alright, everyone...! As we've discussed, let's all get into formation!" Malory, who was at the forefront of the group, ordered. "Let's all stay close to each other so that we don't get separated under any circumstances!"

"Yeah, yeah," the Striker-class hunter shrugged at her words. "How many times are you going to repeat that?"
