She sat there for hours waiting for everyone to leave and eventually they did. She relaxed and sat on her fairly made bed as strands of her brown hair got stuck on her already wet face.
She looked at her phone and decided to make research but like what she thought it was nothing to depend on. Some said it was a superpower while others said it was a curse.
She looked at her phone for the very last time as she tried to sleep peacefully. She heard a sound coming from the window so she assumed it was Dave or Robert so she sat on the bed ready to tell them everything.
"Dave? Robert?" she called.
"Sorry, no Dave or Robert here" she heard a voice say and she quickly looked for her pair of glasses to make sense out of what was happening. The voice was very different from Dave's and it wasn't as deep as her dad's.
"What do you want stalker or I'll call the police"
The man laughed loudly and Olivia walked further away from the window.
"I work with the police and I am not a stalker"
"Then what are you, a thief who wants to steal because you think my room is the best place to start from, forget it I'm broke and I definitely don't need people here" she said as she observed her face that had already disappeared. She carried some blankets and covered her face in case the stranger would make his way up.
"I don't want money and honestly you know what I want it's beneficial to both of us, you get the remedy and I take the curse" the man replied.
"What curse?" Olivia asked and almost immediately she realized she was invisible, was that the curse?
The man didn't reply and as she approached the closed window she noticed the man had already left. She looked at the window and hoped the man was lying about working with the police. She knew her invisibility was meant to be low key so how did he know about this.
She stopped thinking for a while and decided it was time to sleep. She looked at the mirror again and noticed there was no reflection.
"Hmm" she whispered to herself and she suddenly heard a knock on her door.
"Go away" she yelled.
"Could you at least come out, for me?" it was a female voice and she knew it was Josaphine.
"Josaphine you don't get it, the amount of trouble I'm in I'm not sure coming to see you would solve them, Josaphine just go home get some rest, I'm good really I just need space." she said.
"Olivia are you sure"
"Yes I'm sure and you don't have to worry okay"
"Okay but there's one thing I'd like to ask."
"Sure, ask away"
"What's wrong with you? ever since the party you've been avoiding me and you've become strange, I mean you're friends with my brother one, you're shutting your best friend up two, and you're totally ignoring your parents"
"What are you trying to say?"
"I'm trying to say that we've drifted apart" Josaphine said in a low husky tune and almost Olivia felt hurt by the word she used to describe their relationship.
She didn't want to tell her she was invisible but she had to, she had to tell her mom, dad and even Molly but she was sure this wasn't the right time.
"I'll tell you everything I promise but just not now"
"Ok, I'll be waiting" Josaphine said and soon Olivia heard some footsteps it seemed like she left to tell the others that she was fine.
She sighed and hoped she would understand her condition. When she met Dave she hated him for picking on people but she never understood. When she met Josaphine she was warm and comforting but she never understood. And finally Robert, he seemed rather secretive and sketchy, like he was hiding something or someone, why?..
