Chapter 33: Mike(ii)
Dave tried dragging Olivia to a corner but almost immediately Mike yelled.
"Could someone get me off this chair, I'm wet, smelly and really sticky"
"Good" Dave said giving him the stink eye in return.
"You know there's one thing I don't understand you said the company sent you to cover up their crimes right, how did they know Josaphine was missing?"
"They said something about an employee,I barely know him"
"Did you remember his name, address, anything?" Dave asked.
"Hmm just his first name, Rune I think"
"Nothing else?"
"Yeah,no wait I think I remember his address" he said quickly.
"Good then you're coming with us"
"No I heard he's gotten involved with some thugs that led to him getting arrested three times in a row"
"Guess he wasn't lying about getting involved with the police" Olivia said smugly.
"There you go" Dave said as he removed the ropes that held Mike to the chair.
"Thank you" Mike said quickly as he stretched his hands.
"One last time, the company sent you here to fill in for Josaphine and Dave because they thought they were missing, they gave you cards containing our personal information and everything, how did you know so much about me it's not like they knew me ...
"I attended Nnestville, had some horrid memories" Mike said still stretching.
"Okay, I'm leaving" Dave said quickly as he ran out of the room.
"Is he your boyfriend?" Mike asked.
"No! he's just, just a friend"
"Good to know"

As Olivia walked back home she recalled what Mike had said about her dad.
"If dad really is an imposter and mom knows, Molly knows why did they react when they saw Robert, it seemed like they already knew him, does....
Woof! Woof!
"What the, is that a dog" she asked fully alarmed.
"Don't run it won't chase you, don't run it won't chase you, oh who am I kidding I'm running...."
she said as she ran quickly with the dog close to her.
She ran for what seemed like eternity and whenever she thought she was safe she'd hear a woof sound confirming that it was still behind her. She eventually grew tired but still tried running again until she saw a familiar figure.
"Bad boy, stop! now!" Dave yelled immediately stopping the raging dog with just four words.
'It's that easy' Olivia asked herself.
"Are you following me?" Olivia asked Dave who only nodded.
"He could be anywhere besides I don't trust that Mike boy, he sounds sketchy" Dave said as he walked closer to Olivia.
"Are you anxious" Olivia asked.
"No, why?"
"My stepsister's missing and I don't seem too concerned but your sister's missing and you give so much damn about her, if you find the texter what would you do to him?"
"Well I'll ruin his face then break the fingers he uses to torture other people then maybe get him a casket for his corpse" he said as he noticed Olivia chuckle.
"What's so funny?" he asked a bit too serious.
"Nothing" she said quickly as she realized he wasn't joking.
