The walk back to the wall was a bit cumbersome for Gerald, especially given how tired he was, but he lugged the corpse with him until he managed to get a skeleton to carry it for him. All of the skeletons were busy with the woodwork for the boats and the dock except for a few lookouts and a couple of others on random errands or keeping watch from the wall. The two walked to the top of the wall, neither talking and both very tired.
"Master?"
"I'm Gerald." The man responded, looking down at her as the moon lit his face slightly. "Not your master."
"You're my… my king." She responded nervously. "Why did you-"
"I need to show you something and have a chat." Gerald interrupted with a small smile. "First… the showing." The skeleton threw the body off of the wall and it fell to the ground below, melding into the shadows. "Thank you. Leave us." The skeleton bowed and hurried away from them and back to its other duties.
