When Gerald's magic returned to him (during the night of his first night as Hermina as his wife) Gerald got the idea and he implemented it. 'Lydia has been trying to teach it, but maybe I'll have more luck…'

Gerald was shocked at the number of people who attended the class he offered. He was also shocked to see his wives, Lydia, and the two Wizardesses in attendance, as well as most of the Druids and Witches who had taken up residence in Portal. (In fact, only the matriarch was missing from the Witches' side of things and he assumed that that was because she was still sore over the fact that Hermina was living again and NOT a Witch.)
