The Necromancer's End

To say that the Wizards around the city were upset was a bit of an understatement as they were arrested and their personal staff taken. Fortunately for many of them, they were ignorant of the greater aspects of the plan to enslave or destroy the Druids. Many simply believed that they were there as part of the diplomatic convoy, and at least two had fallen in love and started families with their druid spouses.

Gerald, for his part, wasn't even upset about them removing him from the council. He found his bed that night beautiful and soft…

The very early morning however has him being woken up by Lydia and her eyes spoke of the seriousness of the matter.

"Um…" He yawned. "Why what?"

"Don't 'Why' me!" She said quietly but intently as she slapped him (again). "I just told you. They're purging all of the non-druids from the city! They're coming this way!"
