The air around her changed as she noticed the jolt from my body. She smiled, a huge smile like she had finally found something she had been looking for, quickly she began muttering several words to herself mostly inaudible and incomprehensible to me as it was in the Xeno's heretical language. She began saying words out loud mostly directed at me and yet seems to have forgotten that I do not understand the heretical language.
This continued on for seconds before she seemed to have finally calmed down, she turned her head slightly as she looked directly at me most likely trying to look past 'my' face to see my second face…..she would see nothing.
She got up and left, her figure fading and blending into the darkness as I lost sight of her. Once she left I began looking around searching for a weapon or something as I noticed I had been stripped of my on body weaponary and yet I still had my backpack. Soon I just decided to sit and concentrate to my thought, building and arranging.
....
In my mind laid mysteries, walls and vaults like a building or a place and yet what made this different was that I could actually see it and explore it like it was real. So I did, I walked forward looking towards 'lost yet saved ones' grouped up and moving about seemingly looking for a way out, lost with no way out. An action that shall go unnoticed for if I can't access them then I don't believe anyone can.
It was grey….my surroundings that is, well apart from the black area sealed off in my mind, no need to question it…just ignore it like i always did. I usually focused on them in an effort to know what they were and realized meditating whilst in my mind was the best most efficient way of learning about this things.
I could stay no longer as it was time to go, a feeling I don't believe I have gotten used to at least not yet. I opened my eyes just in time to see the Aeldari approaching me with a Knife or blade. I didn't move and simply watched as she approached me….and then moved past me towards where the edges of my chains were tied to. With one strike she…broke it off and then glanced back at me for a second seemingly expecting a reaction and yet I remained unmoved albeit confused at such actions.
She moved out once more before returning not more than 3 seconds after with my lasgun. How she got it was a matter I neither questioned nor thought of as once I laid my hands on it, I reacted as I snatched it aggressively and proceeded to pin her against a solid object which still left me standing.
She simply watched and I too looked straight into her eyes and then released her. The cost I cared not for, for my mission or rather personal objective was to create as much damage as possible and I could not kill her yet.
As I let go she smiled before moving out of my sight and returning once more with a bag filled to the brim with several types of grenades, most of which was not of my regiment. Then she handed me what seemed to be a Map and then left. I expected her to return…but she didn't, now back to my goal. If I am correct then this place should be filled with prisoners.
I cracked open my Lamp pack and hanged it on my waist, Removing things I deemed useless from my backpack I stacked it as much as I could and hanged the grenades on me where I could. I may be alone but I shall do the maximum amount of damage as I could for such a chance must be used to it's greatest effect. The map was not standard and yet is what I am provided with and so I set off careful and quick as I had little time to spare.
' Why did you not kill her? ' The voice in my head asked, I responded with silence as it was a....strange thing. The voice didn't seem to question any further as we moved.
Mere seconds after my departure I heard screams coming from ahead. I moved even quicker yet quieter as I approached the screams. I had already turned off my Lamp pack as I readied my lasgun for a quick firefight. I had neither bayonets nor a shovel hence only my hand for close combat which has to be avoided if needed. There was laughing, group laughing as I could hear 2-3 different voices. As I peeked from my position, I quickly noticed a group of Drukhari torturing someone in front of another group of tied humans, they watched with horror as the Drukhari's gleefully tortured and bled their victim with in front of them.
I rolled a flash grenade in between them, their little distraction gave me just the seconds I needed as one of the Drukhari turned his head and looked towards where the grenade had landed. He moved though might have been a bit late. I moved in with my lasgun raised as I fired shots into their blinded group. Their heads where exposed thus allowing me to one shot them and yet I counted only 4...where was the one that noticed the grenade….i moved quickly scanning my surroundings for the Xeno when suddenly I felt an incoming force from my right and so I spun around with my lasgun ready to take the brunt of the force and soon the Drukhari revealed himself as his palm caught the body of my weapon rather than the flesh of my body, he was fast.
His strength prevented me from overpowering him with brute force as I was barely able to keep him at bay, suddenly I felt something pierce my flesh just below my waist as from the edge of my face I saw his hands digs it's long heretical fingers into me. I tilted my weapon and my body in an attempt to disengage from this Xeno. So it worked as his hands slid down from my weapon though not before tearing part of the skin from my fingers as his xeno palms had thorns imbedded in them.
