Ch. 5: Kousuke and Alice
Kousuke got up from the lavish bed, leaving a tired teenage girl sleeping in it. He checked his phone and read the news about his friends' child getting sick. He smirked, laughing in how they're overacting. Next he saw a message from Kenta, He's asking him to accompany him to the hospital. 'Isn't Alice home? Can't he ask his mom?' With this thought he dialled Alice's Number. "Hello?"
"Alice, aren't you home?"
"Yeah, I'm at home. where else could I be?"
Sarcasm never left these two's tone. Ever since giving birth to Kenta. Alice kept on arguing with Kousuke with every little thing at home or with his work. The toxicity cause him to turn to other women, then soon lessen his time going home. He felt guilty leaving Kenta with that Mad woman, but he justified it with Kenta being Alice's son so there's no way Alice could do anything to Kenta. "Yeah, yeah. You're home. Then, why don't you accompany Kenta to visit Yoshikazu's child? The child still needs to ask me when you're there?" Kousuke lowered his voice, not wanting to wake his girlfriend from resting. "Why do you talk like that? Are you really at work? Seems awfully quiet?"
" I just took a breather in a quiet place. Do you know how tiring this job is?" Stabbing a sore spot in his chest Kousuke raised his voice a little, getting agitated. Alice chuckled from the expected reaction, "Yeah, You must be tired teaching your models what position to pose and what kind of emotion to portray." Alice said, clearly meaning something else.
"Enough! Just accompany Kenta to the hospital. Yoshikazu's a family friend how can you know his child's in hospital and not thought of visiting?" Kousuke walked away from the bed, he went to the table to pour himself more alcohol. Talking to Alice really leaves him a bad taste. "So, They're your friends, not mine."
"Alice...-" Then the bitch hung up. He gulped his drink and toss this matter at the back of his head. He look back to his girlfriend and saw her stir causing her legs to be seen when the blanket run up by her movements. His member slowly wake from the visual. He decided to wake up his girlfriend, after all.

Rushing to the nursery, Alice tried to compose herself before knocking. "Darling, open the door." There's a short silence but after a few seconds a small click was heard. "Mom..."
"I heard from dad, You want to visit Chiyo to the hospital?" Unheard from her sweet voice, Alice was seething with jealousy. Kenta nod, And that's when Alice snapped. "Why? I told you, you don't need to visit her. It's just fever. Nobody dies from a fever!" Alice stopped, trying to breathe and control her emotion. Kenta may seem fine but his little legs were slightly shaking. He rather his mom hurt him than doing other things. He hates doing that kind of stuff with mom. Kisses are okay but-, 'That's right! I can kiss mom. If I kiss mom, she'll stop being mad. Then she'll take me to Chiyo.' Kenta quickly grabbed her mom's skirt despite his shaking hands. "What is it! Not another Chiyo this, Chiyo-"
"No. I'll kiss mom. So mom won't be mad anymore." Kenta gathered all his wits with this. He thought Kisses are easy. But if Chiyo don't visit anymore... Then, Mom will do things to me again. "Really, Darling. You'll kiss mom... "

"Hello, Yoshikazu. How are things? Did my son bothered you, guys?" Yoshikazu was puzzled recieving a call from Kousuke after clocking out. "What? But Chiyo got discharged already. Did little Kenta want to visit?"
"They didn't visit?... hm, Alice must be busy. You know, She's been swamped with cake orders from her old friends. Well, I'll try to visit Little Chi once I'm done here." Kousuke was burning with anger by this point. 'That b!tch never listen!'
"It's okay. She's well now, according to Yumi. Chi is such an angel to us. She never complained even when she's sick." Kousuke laughed trying to distract his head from anger. "Good for you. You really caught yourself two miracles with your wife and daughter. When, in college, you used to get dumped every month."
"Ehh. Forget that already. My life in college can never compare to the campus heartthrob, you know." Kousuke smiled with that. "Yeah right. Anyway, I won't keep you long. Bye. Tell Chi, Uncle will buy her souvenirs!"
"Okay. Take care!"
Kousuke rub his face with his hand. 'Alice has been very unpredictable, lately. I worry what's wrong with her.' A slender girl hug him from behind. It was Misa Hanasawa, a model and his girlfriend. "Something wrong, Kousuke?" Kousuke shook his head. Misa will graduate College soon. Then, maybe... I can divorce.

After, the failed visit at the hospital. Alice left Kenta alone with his thoughts. She made herself some Cocktail to celebrate her good mood in a long while, Then she heard her phone. "Alice! Why didn't you visit at the hospital! I just embarrassed myself with Yoshikazu just now. I told you to visit!"
"And we did. Kenta was the one that change his mind. You know, how weird he is with making friends. He heard Chiyo has a visitor already. so He's sulking now." That series of events brought Alice in her good mood. She really doesn't have much care for Kousuke now. " If that's all, I'll hung up. I'll be cooking Kenta's favorite to lift his spirit. Bye!" After ending the call, She quickly set her cocktail aside and start preparing for Dinner.
" She already made friends. Chiyo won't visit here anymore... I hate her, I hate her! I was gonna let her hug Mr. Octopus in her next visit, why does she not like me?" Kenta mumbling. His grip with his toy show how distressed he is. His thoughts were swirling. 'He shouldn't have gone home. Maybe if he stayed I could've stop those kids from liking my Chiyo. Maybe, I'm wrong. Should I apologize next weekend? I wish dad will come home...' soon he fell asleep. Promising himself to try being Chiyo's friend again next weekend.
