The Hidden Beauty

Morgan hesitated for a moment, then made a split-second decision. "Actually, I was hoping you would come with me. The investors I'm meeting with are based in London and I could really use your assistance on the trip. I also think it would be a great opportunity for you to gain some experience."

Her eyes widened in surprise. "Me, sir? Are you sure?"

His expression softened. "Of course, Mel. You're one of the best at what you do, and I trust you completely. I truly believe that you're an invaluable asset to the company. I think it would be a great opportunity for us to work together in a new setting and I also think we could make a great team outside of work as well."

Her eyes sparkled with appreciation. Her cheeks turned a faint shade of pink as she smiled gratefully, "Thank you, Mr. Blodwyn. I'm excited for this opportunity."

Morgan felt a sense of relief and excitement at the prospect of spending more time with Melody, and he couldn't help but smile back at her. "Great, I'll let you know the details as soon as I have them."

"Sure, Mr. Blodwyn," Melody replied, her fingers tapping away on her keypad. "Do you have any preference on the airline or specific dates?"

Morgan paused, considering his schedule for a moment. "Let's make it for next Thursday, and just book the best available option for the airline. And make sure we have a car service waiting for us at the airport."

"Understood." Melody made some note of the details. "And will you be needing a hotel reservation as well?"

"Yes, please. You'll need to book two rooms at The Langham for three nights."

Melody quickly jotted down the information into her pad. "It's all set, Mr. Blodwyn. I'll email you the details as soon as I have the confirmations," Melody replied. "Is there anything else you need me to take care of?"

Morgan shook his head. "No, that's all for now. Thanks, Mel."

"Anytime, Mr. Blodwyn," she replied with a smile before leaving the room.

As she turned to leave, Morgan couldn't help but follow her movements as she walked away from him. Her confident stride and the way her hips swayed with every step caught his attention. He couldn't help but feel drawn to her natural grace and beauty.

His thoughts began to wander, imagining what it would be like to hold her in his arms and feel her body against his. He quickly shook his head, scolding himself for having such thoughts.

He knew he was in a committed relationship with Sarah, but he couldn't shake off his growing attraction to Melody. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't help himself.

Whenever Melody stood beside him, he found himself staring at her, admiring her beauty. He had never noticed how her long brown hair cascaded down her back like a river of chocolate, or how her brown eyes sparkled like golden sun in the sky.

He couldn't help but notice the subtle curve of her nose and the plumpness of her lips. Her nose was perfectly symmetrical and added to the delicate features of her face. And her lips, oh how he longed to feel them against his. They were soft and inviting, with just a hint of natural pink color. Every time she spoke, he found himself mesmerized by the way her lips moved, and he couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to kiss them.

As she passed by him, Morgan caught a whiff of her smell. It was a delicate and subtle scent, but it was enough to intrigue him. He couldn't quite put his finger on what it was, but it was like nothing he had smelled before. He found himself subtly leaning in to get another whiff, feeling drawn to her in more ways than one.

Morgan couldn't help but feel himself drawn to her warmth and kindness, feeling a sense of comfort and happiness wash over him whenever she smiled. He couldn't quite explain it, but there was something special about her smile that made him feel alive.

Her warm smile was infectious and had a way of making people feel at ease. It was as if all the worries and stress of the day would melt away in the presence of her smile.

As the day went on, Morgan found himself thinking more and more about Melody. He wondered what it would be like to be with her, to hold her in his arms and kiss her soft lips.

The more he thought about Melody, the more he realized that he wanted to get to know her better. He couldn't help but wonder if there was something more between them, but he quickly dismissed the thought.

He sat down at his desk and took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. But the image of Melody's hips continued to haunt him, and he found himself struggling to concentrate on his work. He couldn't deny the pull he felt towards her, but he also couldn't betray the trust of someone he cared about.

As the day came to an end, he found himself lingering in his office, lost in thought. He then summoned Melody to his office. "Mel, I know this might sound sudden, but I was wondering if you would like to join me for dinner tonight?"

Melody looked surprised but also a little hesitant. "I don't know, Mr. Blodwyn. Isn't it a little unprofessional for us to go out like that?"

He understood her concern, but he couldn't help the way he felt. "I know it might be a little unconventional, but I really want to get to know you better. We can keep it casual and just talk, if that's what you prefer," he said, trying to sound as reassuring as possible.

Melody couldn't help but feel like a deer caught in headlights as Morgan spoke. His words sounded harmless enough, but the alarming sense of honey trap she felt made her wonder if she was about to be ambushed by a love-struck predator.

She tried to suppress a giggle as she imagined Morgan in a loincloth, holding a spear, ready to pounce on her. She looked down at her feet for a moment before meeting his gaze again. "Uh, I appreciate the offer, Mr. Blodwyn. I do enjoy working for you, but I think I'll pass on the casual talk for now." She spoke politely with a half-hearted smile, hoping to avoid any potential awkwardness.

Morgan felt a pang of disappointment, but he knew that Melody was right. He had to keep things professional, especially since he was still in a relationship with Sarah. "Sure, Mel. I understand. We'll keep things strictly business from now on."

Melody nodded, a small smile on her lips. "Thank you for understanding, Mr. Blodwyn. Now, is there anything else you need me to take care of for today?" She mechanically switched back to her professional mode.

He shook his head, still feeling a bit dejected. "No, that's all for now. Thanks, Mel." He indifferently dismissed her with a wave of his hand.

Feeling conflicted, he finally packed up and headed home, determined to sort out his feelings and figure out what he truly wanted.

As he turned the key in the lock of his front door, Morgan realized that he couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to change in his life. Little did he know that the decision he was about to make would have far-reaching consequences and would ultimately alter the course of his future.
