HOME RETURN

Linda was discharged after 3 days as she recovered pretty quick, also Shawn mad sure she was healed by him properly over the time and in no time she was able to go home as she got discharged from the hospital.

Zen welcomed Linda at home with a great celebration.

He had decorated the whole house just for her return from the hospital and also to apologise what he did to her when he lost control over himself and turned into a demon.

He had made food for both of them and the table was set for both of them.

Linda kissed Zen on his forehead and said

' thank you for all this and don't be sorry i know it wasn't your fault.

Now lets eat up, i am so hungry.

The food in the hospital is real crappy.

I never thought that being a patient sucks this much.

It is really great be back home again.'

They both sat on the table and had their food.

As they were eating a ring was heard by them, Zen got up and went to check.

As he opened the door, there were 2 shady looking men standing in front of him as he looked at them and They asked him

' Is this Linda's residence? '

Zen replied

' yes, this is Linda's residence.

Do you have anything to talk to her, i can call her if you want?'

As they told him to bring her.

So Zen went and told Linda about it.

So she told Zen to bring them in the living room.

Zen went and asked them to come inside as he took them to the living room and they both sat on the couch.

They also noticed the hole in the wall and the crack as they entered.

Linda came into the room after them and she sat in front of them.

The moment she sat down she knew what was this about.

But still she asked

' what business do you have with me, i was just having a nice time eating my food with my brother and you have to come disturb us.

Its been 3 days since i have been lying on that bed in the hospital and i wanted to come home soon.

I just got discharged today, so you better choose your word wisely.

I may not be at my full capacity but i will show no mercy.

So spill it out, what do you want here?'

As the both men took a little moment, as they looked at her with their scared faces but one of them put courage and said

' Miss Linda, we are not here to fight.

We just want to ask you some questions about one of our precious friend gone missing.

You know him quite well, berry one of the seven swords.

He went missing few days back and we weren't able to find him anywhere, but just yesterday we got a lead which we got from a store that they have seen him with your little brother Zen in the market two day ago and he hasn't returned up until this day.

Also after that you also came to there looking for him as you showed them his picture as you asked them if they have seen him and you were in stress.

He had to report to headquarters but he never arrived and so they put up a search team to find him and we have come to you for the same purpose.

You also were hospitalized, as we went to take your report.

But they refused to give it to us, as the hospitals head had told to give no one any reports.

But we somehow talked the the guys named Shawn who is the head and he gave us the report.

Thought you were not that badly injured, but still you had some serious injuries.

So could you please tell us what happened. '

Linda looking at them with anger look said

' so now you are accusing my brother for your lost friend.

I told you before choose your words wisely.

I am afraid you have come to a wrong conclusion, so please leave the house immediately before i have to make you do it.

Me being hospitalized is a different matter and nothing to do with anything.

We have nothing to with anyone related to the King.

So just leave or else '

They both stood up and as they left the house door the other guy asked Linda

' mam don't mind me asking but could you tell us what happened to that wall, it looks like someone just punched through it.'

Linda smiled at him and closed the door at his face.

Then both of them went away but they still were sure that Linda and his brother have something to do in this matter.

Linda and Zen both went to the kitchen as they sat on the table and Linda spoke

' i know you have questions, that why did that.

I know i should have atleast created a good story to suffice them and free ourselves from this.

But i know what comes next of this even if we would have given a statement.

They are now going to keep an eye on us from now on.

Which will be a problem for us as you are registered as a non gear human being.

Which will pose so many questions on your existence.

I don't even know what to do now. '

Zen replied to her

' i know Linda that you are frustrated regarding this and i understand it.

I seriously am so sorry for putting you through all this situation.

I have never thought that me just going in the market will create so much ruckus that we will get into a big problem.

But i also believe that you will be able to get some solution to this for sure.

You have reverted me back from that position where i don't think that anyone would have been able do so.

So seeing this just keep patience and believe me, we will get through this.'

Linda looked at Zen and waved her head as she looked glad after hearing him.

As they ate their food, Linda asked Zen to sit on the floor as she made the circle around him and started the sealing.

This time she left it upto 3 stripes as she didn't had that much strength nor it was needed because Zen have learnt to control his powers somewhat now.

After that they both went to bed saying goodnight to each other.

Venda told Zen before he was about to go to bed that

' I have an idea what about you two just run away to the other side of the planet, to Kalgesh and leave ghastle.

That way you have not to keep your powers secret and you will be able to beat the Demon king too.'

Zen laughed at her and said

' if i were to even tell Linda what you said, she will definitely break you.'

Venda replied in a cute voice

' so you will watch her break me, after all i have done for you.

If i wasn't there you'd be running wild like a boar and would have killed Linda'

Zen felt her words and went silent.

He realise that she was right about that and they both hadn't helped him, he would have killed Linda.

He asked himself that

' is this the only thing i am capable of?

No i am not, i will prove it to Linda that i can become stronger to take care of myself and she doesn't have to look after me anymore.

I don't want to be burden to her anymore.

I will become strong enough to be able to protect her and one day i will become able to even control the power of that demon inside of me.

For that day to come i have to training and for that i have to sleep.'

Thinking that he said goodnight to Venda and slept.

During this time something was happening far away from there house.

On a place outside the city, at a under construction building.

The building was left to construct afterwards as the payment was pending and now they have come to check the place and found out the place was in chaos.

People were inspecting the place as they found so much destruction their being done.

As the kept inspecting, they found so much things broken and were in shock.

Not knowing what would have happened, all of them were confused but their doubts were going to get clear soon.

As they kept looking under the rubble they found something unpredictable and unwanted.

They found a corpse of a man split into half.

They all left disgusted after seeing this as it was so audacious thing to do to someone.

They reported it to the police, as the police started their investigation and were able to identify the corpse.

As it was found out that it was the corpse of a member of the seven swords, Berry who went missing few days ago.

But seeing all this they were not able to believe that how could this happen to someone who was so much powerful.

They were not able to believe that he just died like that.

They also asked the locals living around that area, though the building was looked outskirts of the main town and was not that close.

Still people could hear the construction if there was one going on.

As the locals told them that they had heard some noises 3 days back and thought it was the construction though the noise was much destructive this time then normal construction.

But the thing that made them nervous about it was an ominous aura that was making their hearts fell into terror.

Which was not there for long but just was enough to make them sweat and feel scared.

Many accusations could have taken place, as this could be the doing of people from Kalgesh or someone who didn't liked him might have done that.

Also there was a possibility that a demon would have done that.

Which they think would have sent by Kirmada, but not having any rock hard evidence they can't point fingers at anyone.

Still some of the investigators have some lead toward this case, which leads to one person who might know what had happened here and that person in Zen.
