THE PAST

It happened five year in past from the present time.

Linda just got out of her bed as she went to the kitchen downstairs and her whole family is waiting for her there.

Father, mother and Zen.

Lucas (his father) looks at her and says

'Good morning champ, how you slept'

She replies

' it was great, but i am still putting up with the last nights training.

Its difficult to fight with you when you are not holding back.'

Her mother is a doctor.

Mira ( her mother) says looking at both of them in turns

' if lucas starts to hold back on you now, what will happen to the “bear girl” of the seven swords.'

All of the three starts to laugh and Linda says in a slight anger

' Mom!! Don't say all that stuff, i hate when they call me that.

I wanted be called a name just like dad “The dark troop ”.

It has so much of a good ring to it.

Putting that aside today is a big day for dad, he is going to get honoured for this times tournament.

Where kicked ass of that damn demon in the face of that bastard kirmada.

It was a great fight, i wished everyone would have been able to saw that. '

Lucas looked at her with proud and said

' you will be able to do it soon too.

Just keep up the pace you are at and we will be able to dominate the demons in this tournament and will get all the orc crystals they have taken from us.

King will be very happy to see it and i will be honoured to do it for him. '

Zen hearing all this asks

' dad? Why do you believe in king so much, have he done something good for you? '

Lucas replied

' me having request for him is not just because he is a king but because he in his own time was even stronger then myself.

He would have been able to deal with the tournament himself, but the deal binds him with no ruler is allowed to fight in the tournament.

It would have been great if he fought.

I have seen him fighting in my times and he was so strong that just standing in front of him use to become difficult.

He had so much strong aura that surrounded him, just after i fought him once in a fighting tournament, i realised that i was no match for him whatsoever.

That is the reason i accept him as a king and a good ruler. '

They all looked at Lucas with a smile and a proud look.

After they have eaten their breakfast, Linda and lucas went to their work as they were assigned.

Lucas was the leader of the seven swords and have control over all the seven members in it.

All the seven members have one companion of their own, Lucas and king both have full control over their actions both seven sword and their companions.

King mostly orders lucas for anything and he then reinforce the orders to the seven swords.

Linda's companion was Berry, who was quite strong and he respected Linda as a strong woman.

They all were invited in the kings assembly today, as Lucas was going to be honoured for his brave efforts in making them win in the tournament against the demons again this time.

He had made them win 2nd time in a row.

Many people from all over the country were invited, this was a big moment of celebration.

Everyone was so happy and were cheering for Lucas.

His whole family was their to see him getting a medal of honor that he deserves.

As the occasion starts the king steps up and everyone went silent.

He call for Lucas and he come right in front of him as he stood before him and kneels on the ground.

Then the king rewards him with the ceremonial badge that represent the honour of being the protector of realm.

He was awarded with something so great and king grabbed his shoulder and made him stand up as he hugged him tight and said

' how am i suppose to thank you, this little badge mean nothing in front of what you did in that tournament.

If it wasn't for you we wouldn't have been able to reach this point.

Look at all these faces they are hear to see you getting the honor you deserve and i am so much glad that we have someone like you with us here.

You have not made us proud on us once but twice, you are the only one in all these years who have achieved it.

I wished i was not king and i would have fought alongside of you.

That be the best honour i could provide you but could you still be humble enough to resort with puny badge. '

Lucas looked at the king and said

' don't say all that marcus, i know that you being the king was always needed for the betterment of this kingdom and when you have me as a defender you don't need to go to the field yourself and fight.

You have me and your seven swords who will give their lives for you.

My daughter will be stronger then me and that is my promise to you.

So keep looking forward to her progress as if one day i will not be here to protect this world she will.

Just like i am your pride, she is my pride and honour. '

Saying that they both joins the party as the celebration keeps on going and they toast for the great victory.

Berry comes to Linda and asks her to come with him.

She refuses to leave the party and go with her but he insists so she go with him as she excuse herself from others.

He take her to a place where no one is around and tells her about his feeling that he had for her.

But she rejects him and says

' Berry, listen first thing you are drunk and its all the alcohol which is making you say it .

But i am glad that you were able to say it.

But i have to refuse your proposal, because i am not interested in you nor anyone else.

I have something to achieve and thats standing up shoulder to shoulder with my dad and until i achieve it i won't let any of these emotions get in my way.

So you too should focus on becoming strong and then one day you i might be able to see you that way.

But for now you are just my companion in arms and nothing else, so lets not ruin our moods more and enjoy the party. '

Saying that she tries to go toward the party but berry grabs her hand and says

' you said you might one day be with me, then why not now.

I want you now, i want to lay you down on the bed and do all the things with you.

You won't resist a big di...'

She slaps him right before he completes his sentence and she shook her hand off him.

As she went back to the party hall.

As Linda was pissed she went to the bathroom to cool off her mind and as she was in there for a while she received a call from Zen.

As she pick up and he in shaking voice says

' Linda!! Come her quick, dad just went somewhere.

I don't know where he went but he looked angry and i can't find mom anywhere nor i was able to connect her phone. '

Linda replied to him

' Zen, don't leave the party at any cost.

I won't be able to come there because i am going behind dad, so tell me which side dad went to. '

As he told her that he went to the west of the party hall main gate.

She ran away just as she heard that and left her purse and mobile both there as she couldn't run holding them because she was wearing a dress.

She had so many bad thoughts about it but her thought were not even close of what was going to happen.
