WE ARE HOME

Zen reaches his home with Nina where linda was waiting for him, as they both enter the house and Nina kept asking Zen about how he was able to have gear as he kept ignoring her on that part.

They both enter the house and Linda opens the door before he could even do it himself.

As she opens the door and says

' welcome home, zen.

Huh, Nina? '

As she sees Nina and looks at Zen with a surprise look.

Nina waves at Linda and says her greeting to her

' Hey big sis Linda, its been so long since i have seen you.'

As she greets her too and asks them to enter the house.

As they all enter the house and sits down in the living room.

Linda brought some juice and snacks for them to have and settle down with them as she says

' its a surprise from your side Nina, how you met Zen.

I thought your family was living in the north side, so how come. '

As Nina looked at Linda with an excited face and said

' i just came hear alone to live by myself, just because i want the gear license. '

As Linda had a confused look and she said

' That is great but if i am sure that your part of the nation also have a academy where you could have taken the exam and joined the academy that is there and gave the license exam there.

So why leave your home to just come here. '

As Nina looked a little sad and she said

' yeah, there is one there too but i didn't wanted to go there. '

As Zen said

' why, whats special about this academy then others. '

As Linda explained

' Zen, though there are five academy's in the whole nation and anyone can which ever they want to join.

But only the one we have here is a little special because it holds a tournament at the academy in which all the academy students come to take part in.

The student of this academy can join the tournament as they please but the student of other academy have to pass another test for this.

The first three winner place holder of tournament are given the chance to have a token of recommendation to receive a license right away without even giving the exam for gear license.

The community which takes the gear license exam is present at the tournament so they see if the anyone from the top 3 is capable of having a license or not.

If they are they issue them license after few days of particular paper work, but if they are not.

The person who was in top three is given a chance to qualify to become an imperial soldier.

Who work under as the king's guard, you can select to have both if you want but not many have that opportunity.

Being an imperial soldier you can only use your power by the name of the king, if anything mishaps during that you have to give a proper explanation.

You might even get suspended and even can suffer a punishment for doing it.

Having a license with that doesn't make any difference though.

But having a license alone is different thing, you can use it however you want but still being a gear license holder if anything is done in a bad name by you your license will be dismissed and a definite jail time with some penalty will be given. '

As Nina hoped and said

' yes, that is the reason i came here.

Because i want to have that license, if i gave the entrance exam here i can pass with good marks and also i will be able to have a chance to participate in the tournament.

Then i can probably atleast make it upto the 3rd spot, is what i thought before.

But that thought of mine looks like a lost cause now, as i have seen today what Zen can do.

Which made me realise that i am nothing compared to what is needed to win the tournament. '

As Linda looked at Zen with an angry look and she said

' What the hell did you do there, i told you not do anything reckless to pose attention toward you. '

As Zen jumped of his seat and got behind Nina as Linda was looking at him with her angry eyes, Zen replied to her with his shaking voice

' But i didn't do anything, if i did anything it wasn't my fault to begin with it was all that examiner Renji's fault. '

As Linda still looking at him and said

' what do you mean by examiner, are you trying to blame your acts on a more experienced person then you.

You should be ashamed of saying this.'

As Nina tried to calm Linda and told her that it was not Zen's fault.

' Linda it wasn't Zen's fault, that Renji guy just wanted to become your slave.'

As Linda's anger stopped and she looked at Nina with a confused look as she said

' A what? Slave? Who? '

As Zen came in front of her, he looked at Nina and she looked at him too.

They both took a deep breathe and Zen told Linda to sit down so he could explain her what happened.

As she sat down and Zen explained what happened there with Nina's assistant.

After that he sat down and Linda looked embarrassed after hearing it.

Nina asked Linda if she knew who Renji was, but Linda told her that she have no idea who he was.

Nine them showed Linda the pic of Renji on her phone, after seeing the pic Linda gave it a little thought and after giving a lot of thought she said with a plane face

' i guess i remember him from the tournament, i fought him once in the tournament match.

I don't remember him being any different then as i defeated him.

After that i don't think i ever saw him.'

As hearing that they didn't understood what he was doing that for but they left it at that.

But Nina looked at the tournament records so if she could find something, as she read the fight between Linda and Renji she understood what was the reason he was like that as she said

' i guess i know now why he want to become Linda's plaything, it is your fault to begin with Linda. '

As Linda asked her what she did, Zen asked her too.

As she replied

' Linda its written here that you sure beat him but as you fought him, you treated him like a plaything.

You didn't even thought it was a real fight and just threw him from one place to another, sat on his face many times and kept scolding him for not even being able to dodge even a single move.

After the fight he cried and ran away as you treated him like shit.

But i am afraid him being a masochist he liked it and now wants to be your slave to do all those things to him.

So you are the one you made Zen do all that in the tournament not even Renji anymore. '

As they both Looked at Linda and she looked more embarrassed as she said

' I-i-it was not my fault.

He was so weak that i couldn't help but scold him and show him how much there was gap between our powers.

But that bastard wasn't ready to give up so i showed him what real power meant, but after that he just ran away.

How could i have known that he will become like this.

Anyway you passed Zen, that's the big deal here.

Just forget about what happened and lets celebrate this day of your victory. '

As Nina said

' thought the result for written exam are still pending, but we can enjoy the time we have now. '

As they all went to the kitchen where Linda had already prepared for the dinner.

Though not for Nina so she made a little more for her in the mean time when they all were talking about other things.

Zen remembered that he hadn't heard from Venda too, so he tried to call for her but she didn't gave any answer so he thought she might be resting.

So he kept himself from calling for her for now.

Nina looked at Linda and said

' Linda, i saw in the records that you were quite the big shot in the tournament.

You also took the second spot in the tournament, thats great.

I knew you were strong but right from the start, i never imagined that. '

As Linda Told her that she had Her father to help her train and he was the best there was.

Linda was about to go in sad mode but Zen interrupted and said

' second spot, who was the first spot taker then. '

As Nina said

' Who could it be, it was Linda's rival Shin. The leader of the seven swords. '

As Zen looked at Linda with a surprise look and said

' i didn't knew that guy was that strong. '

As Nina questioned him

' what are you talking about, you went to see all her matches so how could you not remember that. '

As Zen looked at her with a plain look and he was about to say something but Linda came in to save him.

As she brought the dinner and served the dinner for all three of them.

After that they all ate the dinner and chatted along until they finished eating.

After that Linda told Nina to sleep in Zen's room and Zen went into shock, same goes for Nina.

As Zen said

' what are you talking Linda she should sleep with you not me. '

As Linda looked at him with suspicious look and said

' i didn't meant you two together, you are going to sleep in the leaving room on the couch.

Don't get ahead of yourself. '

As Zen looked toward the side as he turned his face from Linda, Nina was also relieved.

Zen took a bath after saying goodbye to both of them and after soaking in the bath and relieving himself from all the sweat and body stress from today.

He went to sleep, but he had forgot about something.

At the academy, Ferra woke up and found herself alone in the night as she yelled out loud

' You bastard left me here alone!!!!!!! '
