After experiencing stressful parental expectations and bullying, Eugene Kwak lives his life reclusively as a digital artist. He leaves his apartment rarely, but when he does, he carries both a sketchbook to communicate and an anxious demeanor. He is content with his current lifestyle.
He does not get along with his neighbor Wendy Na, a fellow artist with an assertive personality. Despite his unfavorable impression of her, Eugene still helps her out in a tough situation. As they get along afterwards, Eugene realizes that the boundaries he had placed around him are cracking.
