F*ck.... books are expensive.....

Wanjiru put each guard in charge of a hundred slaves as they left the underground market....he did so as to reduce unwanted attention but still,a many eyes were on him and his little group of forty-two...he knew that among them were spies and people with bad motives, this is why he had specifically chosen to have them teleport from the plaza,as to firstly hide the position of his camp and secondly attract attention towards the plaza.

To him,the higher the attraction he generated the more money he earned.

Arriving at the plaza,he opted to use the restaurant entrance.

Old man Nerdy was already done and so Wanjiru teleported his group of forty-two and handed them over to Hardy and Percy to regester and plan assign them work.

With the increase in population, more space was needed to accommodate everybody, cabins needed to be build and another fence had to be constructed.

That meant more trees needed to be fell, ground cleared and more so.... the people had to be fed and according to Percy, the camp had enough food to last for two meals with such a huge number.

Between Hardy and Percy,Hardy was the one who had alot to deal with, since the position granted to him meant he was practically the Lord in charge.

After his first delivery, Wanjiru teleported back and handed permission to old man Nerdy as to operate the teleportation channel before he sneaked out to the stores back office.

At that time,Sinako had already taken the position of guild leader and headed for the cultivation chamber.

"Now I have two stage 3-level 9 guards...."

He thought as he smiled.

Vicky knocked at the before walking in....

"My Lord...."

She said with a bow... Wanjiru nodded to acknowledge and urge her to continue...

"The two men earlier came with a business proposal....they are both brothers and adventurers and in their last journey in search of high grade materials, they say they came upon a high-tier copper deposit and are willing to sell its location to the highest bidder...."

Wanjiru felt something fishy about it,but still chose to listen....

"They say apart from us,they have also approached the management of Overlord Equipment in Silver Lake City...."

When Wanjiru heard the name, Overlord Equipment,he was glad he still had his hood on when he meat those two brothers.

"So they are still suspicious about me...."

Wanjiru thought.....

"I need to divert their attention to somewhere else....and tonight...."

He didn't finish his thought as an evil grin appeared on his face.

Vicky knew of this grin and felt pity for whoever was on his Lordship other scheming end.

"Tell them,we are interested but we have no funds....."

"Yes my Lord....."

"Also, how are the preparations of the discounted sale of blue grade equipment going on...."

He inquired as he munched on a cookie....

"Everything is progressing fine my Lord...."

"Good...."

He said as he handed her a tiny basket of cookies....

"Keep me informed...."

As Vicky shut the door behind her,he took out the Slave token and infused his Qi in it.

The beast race woman had informed him that the token had a teleportation array fixed in it.And true to her words, runes started appearing on the surface of the bronze slave token.

Wanjiru had realized that the token seemed to upgrade as he increased the level of his Enslaver title,it was a wooden at one star, iron at two stars and now that he was a three stars Enslaver, the token had turned bronze.

A second later,he vanished from the office.

Wanjiru appeared in a large square filled with people clad in hooded cloaks and robes of different colors. He walked towards one of the building that had a low customer traffic.

He was met at the door by a male attendant...

"Welcome at our shop.....here we only sell skills, including forbidden ones...."

The man said with a wink....

Wanjiru felt sick but he still walked in....

"How may I help you....."

Wanjiru was uncomfortable with this dude around him so he decided to purchase whatever they had useful for him and leave quickly.

"Do you have any skill books...."

Though skill books were quite expensive, they were not a one time use and so Wanjiru opted to buy these.

"We do,but don't ask about their origin...."

The man meant for that to be a joke considering the place they were in but Wanjiru didn't find it funny.

He went ahead and placed his order not bothering wether they had the said skill books or not.

"Get me low-tier skill books on carpentry, wood logging, forging, masonry, mining, cooking, tailoring, tannery, farming, taming, husbandry, fishing, boatbuilding, nursing, medicine and potion making."

He knew with the growing number of his base and the future development of his village,he had to increase the number of lifestyle professionals under him.

He knew that no matter how much money he had,he will not always be able to sustain and satisfy his subjects need.

The attendant was surprised by his order, but didn't show it on his face. He was quick to grasp that this customer had received a huge order or was looking to making a profit from the lord's who had recently joined Legacy Land and so he chose to maximize his commission.

"Esteemed customer,we do have all you seek...and not just low tier but all the way to mid-tier...."

Wanjiru was happy as he heard him,he hadn't expected that he would be so fortunate today.

"I should have become an Enslaver early....."

He thought to himself.

"...we also have do sell books on other fields like management, accounting, military tactics, warfare and discipline, agriculture and so on....."

Wanjiru looked at the man quizzically.....

"Is there a difference between a book and a skill book...?"

The man was astonished at this man's lack of knowledge....

"For a book, you have to study in an institution under an instructor or teacher as to master the principles behind the given subject....but for a skill book, you just need to comprehend the pattern of the said and practice it more as to advance it...."

Wanjiru nodded his head in understanding.....

"Get me everything below high-tier...."

An hour later, Wanjiru walked out of the skill shop less one thousand and thirteen gold coins.

"F*ck....books are expensive."
