A second chance at life.

Fallen Rooh World.

The final cycle of Kali Yuga, era of chaotic dawn.

"My head really hurts…."

This was Wang Zheng's first conscious thought upon waking up. It felt as if there was a cut on his head, hurting so badly that it seemed as if his head was about to split open.

His vision was initially blurry, but as it cleared, he realized that he was inside a moving carriage. As the vehicle bounced along, Wang Zheng's body jolted painfully with every bump on the road, aggravating his already throbbing wound.

He immediately surveyed his surroundings with a dazed look on his face trying to get some answers.

He observed that the carriage was made of wooden planks, with several well-groomed young people resting with their eyes closed around him.

Wang Zheng himself was lying on the cold, hard floor, and he knew he could not continue in that position for long.

With great effort, he struggled to sit up, groaning with the effort.

'Where am I....? Hold on! Why the hell am I still alive!? What's going on, and..... this is not even my body!' Wang Zheng was shocked, his thoughts churned at lightning speed. He continued to ponder as more and more questions piled up, while the confusion in his heart only deepened.

He tried to make sense of his surroundings, but everything felt unfamiliar and disorienting. The reality of his situation hit him hard, and for a moment, he was paralyzed with disbelief.

However, Wang Zheng's eyes suddenly shimmered with demonic glee as his emotions erupted at once.

"Hahaha, I am alive, I am not dead! Even death cannot stop me, I am immortal. Hahaha~!" Wang Zheng's shock transformed into an uncontrollable burst of maniac laughter.

In that moment, every cell in Wang Zheng's body felt unprecedented joy flooding into them, causing him to feel invincible. His mad laughter echoed in the entire carriage, causing great disruption.

But his laughter didn't last long as Wang Zheng immediately realized his mistake.

However, he was still a step too late.

"Bastard, Shut the fuck up!" A voice filled with annoyance echoed behind him, and without missing a beat the sinister rustling of the wind accompanied it.

Wang Zheng cursed under his breath, realizing that he couldn't dodge the incoming attack. Without hesitation, he instinctively raised his arms to shield his head.

Bam!

Due to the sheer force behind the kick, Wang Zheng lost his center of gravity and slammed heavily against the ground with a resounding thud.

Wang Zheng gritted his teeth, 'Pathetic, this body is far too weak!' he thought to himself as he struggled to roll forward, attempting to create some distance between himself and his assailant.

But to his misfortune, another uncompassionate brat sprang into action.

Immediately after, Wang Zheng was harshly hit in the ear by the hateful fellow's boot.

"Ughh.." Wang Zheng immediately felt his vision darken, and a strong sense of dizziness caused him to lose balance, completely collapsing on the ground.

'Damn it...' Wang Zheng's expression was dark as he tried to get up. His body was already injured to start with, there was no way his fragile body could endure these vicious strikes from these strapping lads.

And things happened way too quickly. Not long ago he had slaughtered his kin, then he died, and within moments, he found himself inhabiting a stranger's body. And now, he was on the verge of being pummeled to death by a group of no-named chumps!

Now, that was something even Wang Zheng couldn't foresee with his years of experience.

Bam!

Wang Zheng's head was harshly stepped on, like a rock hitting the cold floor, making a loud sound. His scalp was knocked open and bled nonstop.

"Fuck!" Wang Zheng raged and tried to get up again, but his weak body didn't seem to listen to his commands.

This made Wang Zheng's blood boil even further. He shouted in his heart that no matter who it was, if there was a chance in the future he would stuff barbed wires up their asses and fly them like kites before uprooting their entire lineage.

Wang Zheng was done with showing mercy to others.

After living a life filled with restraint and morality, he was incredibly fed up. This time around he would do what his heart pleases, there won't be any need to hold back.

For him to play by the rules, it was not a possibility. The aspirations in his heart were just too damn big.

Mortality and whatnot could go in the trash, Wang Zheng couldn't care less. But that was for later, right now the matter at hand was outliving this brutal beatdown.

Wang Zheng's face was almost deformed, and he breathed raggedly. He felt that on his head, there was a huge boulder that would not move no matter how he struggled.

'It's no use, he is too strong for me to handle currently.' Wang Zheng forcefully suppressed his boiling emotions and reasoned calmly, then without even thinking he inspected his cultivation base.

And it turned out just like he had just predicted, he was simply a mortal boy without an ounce of Spiritual qi.

How pathetic!

Upon this discovery, Wang Zheng wasn't too depressed. Just the fact that he had been reincarnated was a miracle already, what more could he ask for? Just how many people in life actually get a second chance..? Not many.

'Since that is the case...' Wang Zheng snorted inwardly, a cold gleam sparked in his eyes. His consciousness suddenly focused on his hands.

Wang Zheng's frail-looking hands were suddenly veiled in a very thin layer of ethereal silver light, the sliver light was enchanting yet vigorous and imposing at the same time.

The Martial Intent of Strength!

Throughout the ages, Martial Intent has been a rare and elusive form of ethereal energy, not bound by the laws of the world's essence. And since it was birthed from intent, it's an arcane concept. Its very existence is shrouded in mystery, accessible only to those who possessed a profound understanding of the Great Dao.

Cultivators could only hope to gather and cultivate Martial Intent through intense battles and near-death experiences, or by fully immersing themselves in their chosen cultivation path. While there were multiple types of Martial Intent in existence, the means of achieving them without decades of painstaking accumulation was unheard of.

Wang Zheng wasted no time and swiftly directed his fist, enveloped in a powerful aura of Strength Path Martial Intent, towards the boy's leg that was firmly pinning him down, intending to strike a devastating blow.

The whistling sound of air could be heard as the fist traveled at an imposing pace, sending shivers down the boy's spine.

However, at this crucial juncture, the pain in Wang Zheng's head spiked. He felt a sharp pain lancing through his head as if a sharp object was jabbed into his very soul followed by a twist.

The excruciating pain arrived abruptly and brought many strange memories along with it. Wang Zheng's eyes rolled back as he directly blacked out.

But!

Fortunately, Wang Zheng's fist had already landed a solid blow on the boy's leg before he blacked out.

"Ahhhh-!" The boy cried out tragically, he suddenly lost all strength in his right foot, his balance was shaken as he fell and banged his head against the hard floor.

Thud!

The boy collided with such force that he was directly knocked unconscious.

"Brother Kai, are you alright??"

"Oh no, brother Kai is bleeding. Quickly, stop his bleeding."

"Damn, it's all because of that hateful Wei Wushang!"

The carriage immediately turned boisterous, and all the other youths in the carriage immediately surrounded the boy referred to as Kai, and diligently attended to his wounds.

As for Wang Zheng, forget about treating his wounds he didn't even get looks of pity. On the contrary, several of the boys began brutally punishing him while spewing vile curses at him as if he were an unwanted piece of trash.

Wang Zheng's body was subjected to a merciless assault, as if he was nothing more than a pile of rotten flesh. The scene was truly appalling and demonstrated the childrens lack of humanity, they were just kids yet they acted like bloodthirsty barbarians.

It was truly an unbearable picture. Yet, in the cutthroat world of cultivation, the very concepts of morality and justice were mere illusions crafted by those in power.

In this dog-eat-dog world, the notion of right and wrong held no meaning. The strong devoured the weak, and the weak in turn preyed on those even weaker than themselves. It was a cycle as old as time itself, just like how the big fish devoured the small fish, and the small fish in turn devoured the shrimps. And in this endless cycle, the only truth that remained was that might made right.

If you possessed enough strength, you could commit any unforgivable sin in the world and still walk with your head held high. Not a single person would utter a word against you or dare to stand up to you. And if they were foolish enough to do so, you could simply kill them without a second thought. There wasn't much to consider anyway.

It was a simple logic, yet undeniably cruel at the same time.

As the commotion inside the carriage got louder and louder, something that shouldn't have happened, occurred.

On one end of the carriage, there lay a bulky male youth, slumbering like a lion despite the ruckus, he was completely oblivious to the chaos around him.

The boy had thick eyebrows, a tall and straight nose, and short purple hair. Although his face was somewhat young and tender, his body was sturdy and well-muscled, looking extremely manly.

His eyebrows twitched before he finally opened his dry eyelids, but he didn't immediately get up, instead, he wriggled around as if he was going to enter slumber again, but at one point the commotion finally got to him.

'So freaking loud, for heavens sake my ears are bleeding...' Wei Sang complained internally before giving up on sleeping and finally getting up, his eyes were still droopy but when he turned his head towards the source of this commotion his eyes widened like full moons, and his expression changed drastically.

In his vision, Wei Sang saw his younger brother Wei Wushang motionlessly lying in a pool of blood, looking weak and miserable. While three burly boys were thrashing him like a dead dog.

"Fuck, his pheasant blood has tainted my nobel shoes. Wei Wushang you have such guts!" A boy spoke up with a cruel look on his face as he lifted his leg and firmly stepped on Wang Zheng's skull.

"Hahaha, why aren't you laughing now loser." Another boy laughed in a wicked tone before ferociously kicking at Wang Zheng's crotch.

Wang Zheng's face twisted in pain, his body squirmed in hurt like he had just been electrocuted but his eyes were still closed tightly seemingly unable to wake up even after suffering such torment.

"Hmph! acting dead? Hehe, then let's see how long you can go on with this little act." The third boy glanced at Wang Zheng with a nasty look on his face. Unlike his two buddies, he did not immediately strike Wang Zheng.

Instead.....

Seemingly out of nowhere, the boy pulled his pants down and whipped his little penguin out, and started spraying Wang Zheng with sparkling golden water.

"Ahh~!" he groaned as his reserves started to deplete at a considerable rate.

The other two attackers saw this and chuckled before joining in on the fun. The remaining youths in carriage also mocked and laughed heartily at Wang Zheng's misery.

But little did they know, what fate had in store for them.

Hum~

The air in the carriage suddenly turned heavy, the killing intent in the air was so thick that it could be almost tasted.

Bone-chilling silence engulfed the place, giving birth to a sense of dread in the hearts of these children.

As if a switch had been flipped, the children's laughter had faded away, replaced by the heavy sounds of their breathing. The youths felt their mouth go dry under the horrifying suppression, especially the three youths who had their short-guns hanging out felt a chill in their hearts, while their little brothers curled up in fright.

"How dare you....."

Gulp, the youths swallowed the saliva in their mouths, before gritting their teeth and unwillingly turning their heads back.

But the instant their gaze landed on Wei Sang their entire body was drenched in beads of cold sweat.

"Wei Sang, we can expla...."

"HOW DARE YOU!!" Wei Sang's countenance was malevolent, he was grinding his teeth with such intensity that they were on the verge of shattering.

His eyes shone with immense bloodthirst, the hostility in his gaze was akin to swords stabbing into the eyes of these youths.

The three youths shivered as they subconsciously took a step backward. The rest of the youths surrounding the injured kid named kai were also scared shitless when they watched those pair of bloodthirsty eyes.

"W-Wei Sang please calm down, it was Wei Wushang who started this."

"Yes, yes, yes we were just protecting ourselves. We only did it to protect ourselves!"

The youths started to jointly calm down Wei Sang, and few of the weak-willed children were even crying as they placed two of their palms together and started begging for forgiveness.

But their words fell on deaf ears.

Huff, huff!

Wei Sang gasped heavily. As the sounds of their pleading entered his ears, the wrath in his heart rose further!

Rage!

Irreconcilable rage!

"How dare you? .....How dare you lay your filthy hands on my brother?! Kill, I'll kill every single one of you scumbags!!"

Hot blood boiled in his body.

"ARGHHHHHH!" Wei Sang opened his mouth wide to shout and dashed forward with frightening momentum.

"Oh no, Wei Sang has lost it. Quickly, attack him together." One of the boys shouted in panic, but none took a step forward as they waited for the others to take lead.

The next moment, like gust of wind, Wei Sang had already appeared in front of one of the boys who had previously assaulted Wang Zheng. Wei Sang's right fist flew in the air and hit the boy harshly on the cheeks.

Bam!

After a loud crash, blood spilled as a bunch of pearly white tooths were smashed to bits like broken mirror fragments.

"Ughh!" The boy was hit by such force that his neck was almost broken, he hurriedly retreated.

"Where do you think your going??" Wei Sang let out a beastly cry as he followed up closely, raising his left fist, pulling back and striking upwards again!

Bam!!

The boy's other half of his face was hit by the impact, his head rising high up with blood and broken teeth flying in the air.

Bam, bam, bam!

"Ughh, pleshz no more..!" the boy took three steps back, his ears were buzzing as unbearable dizziness assaulted him.

But Wei Sang didn't stop just there, he roared and directly clasped the boy's head between both of his hands, gripping tightly.

The boy struggled and squirmed, but Wei Sang's hold was unrelenting. Then with an enraged roar, he delivered a bone-shattering headbutt that echoed throughout the carriage.

"Guhhhh..." The boy's vision immediately darkened, and he directly crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

The other youths in the carriage blankly stared at their pal's unmoving body. Their bodies felt numb from head to toe as if they were frozen in place.

The entire carriage was dead silent.

Plop, plop...

Wei Sang stood there, breathing heavily, his chest heaving up and down with a mixture of rage and adrenaline. He looked at the boy's unmoving body with a ruthless gaze as drops of crimson blood fell from his face and dripped on the floor. He had delivered that headbutt with such force that his own forehead was bleeding profusely.

His gaze slowly shifted from the body to the other youths in the carriage and spoke in a deep voice.

"You harmed my brother, all of you will pay with your lives." Wei Sang glared at them with malicious intentions, his blood-stained face made him look even more murderous.

Then he roared like an enraged lion and charged directly at the group, the youths exchanged glances before letting out battle cries of their own and plunging forward.

It was a scene of utter disarray and madness as chaos once again ensued in the carriage.
