Veronica couldn't believe her eyes as she looked at the person she lost countless years ago: Christine Royce, a fellow scribe and her lover. She looked as if the day they were separated had never happened. Veronica's heart trembled and shook as she slowly approached her long-lost lover. Christine was shocked that Veronica was there and stood silently as she approached. The two collapsed and grabbed each other's arms as they stared into each other's eyes. Time seemed to slow for them as they embraced each other.
Veronica forgot all she was there for as she hugged Christine, unable to let her go again.
Christine was in a similar state as well, hugging Veronica tightly.
Neither of them was bothered by the fact that they were openly crying in front of Nezu who was joined by Aizawa in the room.
The two of them were surprised at the sudden waterworks and the sudden embrace, but they chalked it up to being something that happened in the Wastes.
As they let the two lovers reunite, Nezu went to call Six and ask where he was. Only to be sent straight to voicemail. Nezu didn't know why, but something made his fur stand on end. It was like he was being lured into a trap without realizing it. Something that he knew far too well what it felt like.
All that he hoped was that things would work out in a way that he could make things better.

[With Six]
.
Six sighed as he looked at the late sign of the train station. He had expected something to happen for him to get back to UA late, but it wasn't the late train he had expected. He had expected to be waylaid by thugs or heroes trying to get a rise out of him. But a train being late? That was a new one.
So with a sigh, Six began his walk toward UA. Keeping an eye out for anything unusual. But alas, nothing seemed to pop out that screamed 'not normal'. That was if you didn't count the number of times that he got glanced at, glared at, or mocked.
As Six walked, he began to feel as if something was following him. Like the eyes of a Hunter with him as the prey. The feeling just seemed to escalate the more and more he walked.
It was just as he dodged a passerby that his [Luck] would give him a head's up.
A defining creak was heard and the ground where he just stood exploded.
Panic was instantaneous as the surrounding people screamed and moved erratically. With the shooter still an unknown, Six dodged into a nearby alley. His body shimmered for a quick second before he stood there in his [Elite Riot Armor/ Helmet] with a [Anti-material Rifle+] in his hands.
However, before he could look out to see where the shooter was, another defining crack was heard and Six was staggering back. Tripping and falling to his back, Six wondered what hit him hard enough to knock him down. Looking at his chest plate, he saw what looked like hair mixed with epoxy formed into a bullet.
.
'Lady Nagant...' Six's mind immediately knew who was the shooter just from the bullet. 'That shoot had to be within 3km. Judging from the sound that I could hear, it may be at least a mile away. And that Curved shot, her skill isn't just for show.' He thought as he ripped the bullet from his chest plate.
.
As Six thought this he rolled over his left side and grabbed his rifle. He understood that the chances of surviving one of her shots was just [Luck] being on his side. If she had gone for the head, even if his helmet kept the bullet from piercing his head, the force would have broken his neck. And he could already feel the bruise forming on his chest.
As Six's mind was racing, he heard footsteps rushing towards his location. Whipping his head and aiming his rifle down the alleyway, Six saw several Hero Commission Heroes rushing toward him. All armed to take his life.
Six wasted no time switching his weapon out for a [10mm Pistol+] and gunning them down before they got to him. Rapidly reloading, Six holstered his pistol and took out his [Service Rifle]. Dashing down the alleyway and taking down anything coming his way.
More Hero Commission Heroes poured out of the woodwork. Suddenly appearing from the shadows as if they were ninjas. After the 15th kill, Six rolled to the side to avoid a slash that came from nowhere. Scanning the area, Six saw a little woman with a blood-red katana that was dripping blood.
.
'They even teamed up with villains...' Six thought as he recognized the Bloody Maiden, a villain who loved the taste and sight of blood. Someone who could give Himiko Toga a run for her money.
.
Six then rolled once again to dodge a slash made of blood before popping the villain in the head, killing her. Six just ignored the corpse he just made and continued on his way. Leaving a trail of bodies in his wake.
...
..
.
"Finally," Six muttered as he got rid of the last villain in his path. "Now then, let's get this over with. I just want a drink and a good steak."
.
As Six made his way through the alleyway, he was soon upon UA. At least, he was in view of it. However, just as he went to step out of the alleyway, Hawks appeared in front of him with a weary smile and his hands raised in the air.
.
"Hey, can we talk for a bit?" Hawks asked as he glanced behind Six and saw the bodies.
"No," Six spoke curtly. "I have a date with a steak and beer. Be happy that I won't kill you where you stand."
"No, I'm serious here," Hawks spoke quickly, "We need to talk."
"Again, no." Six said more forcefully this time.
.
With that, he pushed past Hawks and made a beeline straight to UA. All the while Hawks just looked at the carnage he had caused.
.
'This is gonna be difficult to cover up,' Hawks thought as he looked upon the carnage that was just a few steps from the road. 'Still though, I just wanted to thank him for getting rid of so many bad apples. Oh well.'
