Closed Door Cultivation

Trying to soothe the aches in my jaw, I pouted as I glared over at the lounging Gao Chen, who smirked over at me, her facial features screaming that she was satisfied.

Pouting more as she simply turned her gaze back towards the ceiling, I slid beside her and huffed as I had to lift her arm around myself, glaring back up at her as she remained unmoving and uncaring.

Sighing, I leaned against her side for awhile, listening to the sound of her heart lazily beating inside her chest, all while the warmth of both her and the bath slowly seeped into me.

Yawning slightly, I stretched beside her before returning my eyes to her face, taking in her relaxed visage.

Pursing my lips, I continued to stare at her for a few more moments, wondering what the feeling inside my heart truly was.

Did I come to love this woman beside me?

Was that why my heart pounded as she gently squeezed my shoulder?

Or why I found her ginger scent to be addicting?

Is that what it was?

If so, what the hell was wrong with me?

How did I fall for-

Shaking my head slightly, I tossed the stupid question from my mind.

She was gorgeous, strong, talented, rich, well endowed, and...

And...

I frowned slightly, feeling like there was something important to add to that list, but it was just on the edge of my consciousness.

What was it?

Some... memory or experience I had with her?

Why couldn't I remember it?

Frowning harder, I sighed as it continued to escape me, instead focusing on what I did know.

Something that I was slightly ashamed with, but something that was apart of me nonetheless.

Her domineering, superior, cocky attitude.

I found that oddly attractive, loving how she took charge of everything in her life...

Including me.

Looking back, I could still feel the fear that permeated my soul as she raped me, but now it was tinged with a rosy tint.

My shattered heart finally had something to obsess over, to worry about, and it was the child she forcefully impregnated me with.

Even without seeing them, I loved that child with all I had, because...

Well, they were so much to me; an anchor between Gao Chen and I, a wondrous thing of life that I wanted to cherish, and more.

My desire to raise this child properly had twisted those shattered pieces into something new, and I found a desire to have Gao Chen as my own, to make her look only at me and our child.

So my obsession split slightly; I obsessed over my unborn child, and I obsessed over my fiancee.

Now I had a way to guarantee she would always come crawling back to me, and I was ecstatic with how she was treating me.

Sure, sometimes I found my anxieties of not being enough flaring whenever she wasn't beside me, but I could... remedy that.

I hope.

"Little bunny~?"

Jumping slightly, my daze receded as I heard her low voice, and I looked back up into those beautiful orange eyes.

"Y-Yes?"

She smirked down at me, and I blinked as she nodded to herself.

"When we're done in here, we're going to eat, and then we enter closed door cultivation. The only break we'll have is when you break through to Soul Transformation, where you will switch from Flowing Palm to Crashing Wave. If, by some miracle, you manage to reach the Ascendant Realm, I'd be ecstatic. However, even if you can't you WILL reach the Soul Transformation Realm, even if I need to personally guide each of your damn Qi rotations..."

Gulping, I nodded as she fixed me with a hard stare, my body shrinking slightly as I continued to nod.

Cultivation wasn't a talent of mine, but I should... hopefully... be able to progress to the Soul Transformation Realm, especially with...

Casting my senses inwards, I observed the budding plant in my dantian, which was furthering it's roots into my meridians.

Even now, I could tell that I was nearing the next Realm just by sitting here, as the plant drew in the Water Qi in the bath surrounding us and formed those frigid black droplets.

"Good. Now... come here. Since we're going to be in cultivation for a bit, I need just one more..."

I yelped as she lifted me out of the water, laying my back on the tiles before gently entering me, both of us moaning softly as she began to make love to me.

Not pound me, not ravish me...

But make love to me.

Gao Chen gently kissed me while holding me close, and I clung to her muscular body like a koala as she gently thrusted forwards.

It took awhile, but eventually she finished, both of us gasping at the amount before she pulled away, raking her gaze over me as she took in deep, heavy breaths.

Seeing that she was far from satisfied, I felt conflicted; I wanted more, but I knew that I really couldn't handle more, not now.

She knew that as well, and I watched as Gao Chen began to mutter Sutras to herself, running her hand through her grey streaked hair before turning away.

Getting up, I leaned against her side as we exited the bath, swiftly clothing myself before joining her for our meal.

Partaking in many of the various Qi rich delicacies, I devoured most of the feast before us, which resulted in me blushing as Gao Chen raised a brow.

However, she remained quiet as we ate, her eyes shadowed deep in thought as she contemplated something.

When we both finished, she took my wrist and guided me down the halls of the Shimmering Palace, where we eventually found ourselves in her garden again.

Waving her hand, the entire courtyard shimmered with Dark Qi, a dome of raw power enveloping the area around us as she nodded to herself.

"Alright little bunny. Just like before, we'll cultivate separately. When you get close to your breakthrough, stop and let me know. I'll watch over you to make sure you don't kill the baby."

With those comforting words said, Gao Chen sat down and closed her eyes, instantly creating a serene sight.

Her perfectly white robes fluttered in the breeze, and her calm, serious expression made her look beautiful...

Admiring her for a few more seconds, I took a deep breath and sat beside her, mirroring her posture and closing my eyes.

Sending my consciousness inwards, I began to cultivate earnestly for the first time in a long time, slowly but surely building the foundation for my future.
