Chapter 94

KIEL'S POINT OF VIEW

A stunning beauty stood beside me—Odette, radiant as moonlight on still water. Her presence turned heads the moment she entered the room, her elegance impossible to ignore. Yet now, with the soft glow of the chandeliers casting golden halos in her hair, I noticed the subtle tremble in her fingers as she clutched her clutch tighter.

I gently reached for her hand, feeling the coolness of her skin against mine. She glanced up at me, her eyes wide, uncertain.

"You're too pretty to be anxious," I said softly, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "That's not something a goddess should feel."

"Am I?" she whispered, her voice barely audible over the soft hum of music and murmured conversation.

"Of course," I said, my voice steady, reassuring. "My lady will always be the most gorgeous—tonight, and every night. In this room, in this world."
