I knew something was off the moment my phone buzzed with five new calendar invites before breakfast.

Claire, my assistant, had texted me in a flurry:

"Odette, your schedule's filling up fast. PR teams are requesting you for shoots, interviews, and a gala next week. All different sources. But they're oddly coordinated."

I stared at the screen, brows furrowed. I hadn't approved any of these. And yet, they were all tied to brands I'd worked with before—just not this frequently, and never all at once.
