CHAPTER NINE - Is she still human?

Ava drew a lot of attention as she walked into the restaurants. The same for Benjamin and Rue who stoo beside her. Ava was foodmazed as its been so long she smelled this much aroma in one place.

A waiter walked up to the stunning beings that just graced them with their presence. With utmost respect and politeness, he asked if made a reservation or wanted a private table to eat as the down hall was to crowdy. It was obvious that the waiter was awed by the two beauties in front of him especially the one with green eyes in the middle.

"We don't have any reservations but would like to make one." Rue said coldly as she glared at yhe waiter-boy who was ogling at her boss. The waiter snapped out of his lustful reverie and shuddered as met Rue's muderous glare and Ben's instense glare.

The waiter-boy hurriedly led them upstair where it was less crowded. He showed them their table and took their orders before leaving there in hurried steps as he could still feel Ben and Rue's piercing glare.

This part of the restaurant was quiet and less crowdy. The people there all seemed intrigued by their presence as they keep glancing at their direction while talking in hushed whispers. The waiters who served their food were stunned on how beautiful they look. Yeah, including Ben because he feminine look and gave off a feminine kinda vibe.

Another waiter attended to them as their attending waiter-boy was so scared and flustered to face them so a new waiter was appointed to them. The new attending waiteress served them while also announcing that all the food they were ordering was on the house as instructed by the owner of the restaurant, who was currently in the building. Ava was delighted when she heard the news. She ordered the entire dish on the menu, two plates each leaving the waitress and her assistant wandering of she could fit it all in her slender body.

" Did you mean three plates ma'am..." The waiteress trailed off when six pair of sharp gaze fell on her. She felt uncomfortable that she began stuttering. " I... I.. me.. mean... sin... since you..were.. th.... three...." She couldn't finish her sentence as Rue cut her off in irritation. " Just do as you were told." She snapped at the waiteress who broke out in cold sweats as she hurried out of their sights.

" To think you were the same person pleading for forgiveness earlier." Ben said laughing much to Rue annoyance. She wanted to snap back at him but remembered that Ava was there and she hadn't forgiven her yet. So instead of replying Ben she ignored him which made him laughed more enjoying the look of defeat on her face. If it had been before Rue irked Ava, he was sure she was foing to retaliate.

After a while, the food was served. There were was different varieties of dish on their table and two carts full of food were brought in and placed beside their table. The other customers were suprised to see the amount of food on their table and even more shocked because more were coming. The food was enough to serve everyone present but only three people were going to eat it.

Ava was visibly excited by the presence of the food that she dug in immediately devouring them plates by plates. They other customers as well as the waiters who had served them were shocked to see how rapidly the food was reducing and only one person was eating it. Ava ignored the others as she focused on her meal. Plates by plates, she devour everything making the other wander if she was still a human being.

When she reached for a glass of water, she paused mid-way. Ben stared at her closely and could tell something was wrong, especially with the way she turned to look at the glass wall of the floor which was far from them. The more he stared at it the more he realized it wasn't just an ordinary wall of glass as he feel a strong but faint aura emanating from there. Ava didn't say anything as she drank her water before burping.

Seeing that Ava wasn't bothered, Ben decided not to also even though he couldn't shake off the freling of being watched. He turned to look at Ava who was obviously enjoying her free meal. " How many days were you knocked out. " He asked while leaning is face on his knuckles.

" Two weeks." Ava replied casually.

" Ohh... no wonder." Ben said thoughtfully as he continued looking at Ava. " Are you satisfied?" He asked.

" No, why?" Ava asked with raised brows as she was eating her desert. Ben shook his head in response as he sipped his wine. The waiters who were clearing the table turned to look at Ava in the disbelief when she said that she wasn't satisfied. The amount of food that she ate was enough to last someone an entire life time.

Inside a private room at the far end of the restaurant, directly opposite Ava's table, a young man was sitting on a large sofa . There were two more persons with him. The man in the middle had black hair , well defined cheekbone, thin but firm pink lips. He was no doubt handsome , his looks were otherworldly bestowed upon him by hell it self. He face can cause anyone man or woman to fall into temptation but the most eye catching thing about him were his eyes. They were silvery-gray like crystals but were blank and expressionless. No singl iota of emotions could be found in them as he stared at the direction where Ava and her group were sitting.

There were two other men beside who were also good looking but could not be compared to the man in the middle. They sat in silence before one of them took the initiative to break the silence. " She is cute, don't you think?" He asked the gorgeous guy in the middle who kept staring at Ava. The room they were in allowed them to see the people on the other side but noone would know that they were there as the room was in-built to the wall of the building.

The man didn't say anything as he kept looking at Ava. " She's the one." The other guy with blonde hair asked. It was of a statement than a question.
