|3rd POV|
Gilgamesh closes his eyes and rests for a moment of peace he has. However, his rest was cut short when he felt Siduri approaching him.
"Your Highness, Archer has returned with the guest you are waiting for."
He opens his eyes and sees two familiar people enter the ziggurat. However, he is more interested in the unknown person. His eyes land on Ryan and try to peer deeper into him.
Sadly, all he can see is a small glimpse of his character before his vision is covered by a vision of color that keeps shifting from one to another. As he tries to get deeper and reach that small glimpse of him, he meets a massive golden dragon with power that even dwarfs the Mother of All Dragons.
While he can feel the dragon cannot enter this world because of the barrier between universes, he can see the barrier growing thin around him. The same shifting color makes the barrier thinner, protecting the dragon from the void.
As he tries to peer deeper. He can see a glimpse of the future. It is a future where he kills the man in front of him.
His status as Heroic Spirit will cease to exist as even Gaia protects this man. That is the worst outcome. The immediate outcome is Earth will be done for. Time will go haywire, and chaos will descend into the world.
"Out"
The golden dragon says, and his vision returns to normal. Ryan looked at him for a few seconds before saying.
"You use your eyes on me, don't you?"
"Please don't say something before his majesty says you can speak."
Gilgamesh raises his hand at Siduri and says,
"Let it be, Siduri. This man doesn't know the proper etiquette. He is nothing but a barbarian, and I shall forgive him this time."
Siduri nods his head and steps back. Gilgamesh looks at Ryan and says,
"What do you want, dragon? Your presence here changes a lot of things."
"But it will not change the main line of destiny. Someone mentioned that to me."
"The Magician, huh? I can see his mark on you, and I shall trust his word. However, you have yet to tell me the reason you came here."
"I came here to gather ingredients to create a Card Class that contains the Heroic Spirit for me to borrow its power from."
"And why do you need it?"
"A group of people want to release the Beast of Apocalypse and destroy the world before releasing it to another world."
"And what kind of people want that to happen? Who is it?"
Ryan holds himself back from telling him that his alternate self wants to destroy the world so the remaining humans are stronger or something along that line.
"Lucifer. The son of the Original Lucifer, the Father of Devil Race."
"I see. Is he that powerful for you to borrow the power of servants when you are a dragon?"
"He is powerful, yes, among the strongest. However, he is not the only reason why I want this power. He is leading a group of Gods, and the ones we know are the Titans from the Greek Pantheon. We just finished fighting a group of Titans led by Kronos. It is the combination of Amaterasu and the entire Shinto Faction and Youkai factions that we manage to repel them."
The Japanese servants in the room look at him in shock. Here, someone fights alongside the Shinto Factions and Youkai and wins against a group of Titans. They don't know the whole story, but they can see that Ryan is telling the truth.
Gilgamesh looks at Ryan with an unreadable expression before saying.
"Very well. I shall acknowledge you. However, if you need help from the people of Uruk, you need to work to earn it. You have guarded my people, and I shall grant you a small favor. Here."
He takes out a small metal alloy from his Gate of Babylon and tosses it at Ryan. Ryan catches it and stores it in his Gate of Babylon. Gilgamesh raises one of his eyebrows and says.
"What is this?"
"Ah, this is the reward Gaia gave to me for healing her in the modern era."
He nods his head as the last puzzle piece appears. Now he knows the reason why he can feel Gaia has a strong connection to this man for it to be willing to erase his origin in the Throne of Heroes.
"Go. Your presence is not needed any longer."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Urgh. I don't like that prick."
I chuckle a little at Ibaraki's words. She is doing great to keep herself from attacking the people in that place. As for me? I am just glad that there is no fight. Don't get me wrong. I can defend myself, but I don't want to create a problem for the people who defend humanity.
"He can do a little bit, yes."
She looks at me and says.
"Is what you said true? About fighting against Titans from the Greek Pantheon."
"Oh, that is true. Lucky for us, we only need to handle Kronos. However, it takes the combination of the Eastern and Western Youkai factions to defeat him. Even then, we failed to kill him. He managed to run away from us. We manage to capture three of the Titans, though."
"But you win! That is all that matters. Is there any youkai I know?"
"The oldest one is Nurarihyon."
"That old bastard? He is still alive in your world?"
"Yup. He is still alive and kicking. Hell, he has a kid and grandkid now. He is about to retire, but problems keep coming over, and he needs to push his retirement away to continue fighting against the enemy of his clan."
"And where is his kid and grandkid? Are they fighting?"
"Yup. As protectors of Tamamo's sealing stone, they keep fighting against the Cult of Tamamo."
"Urgh. I hate that bitch. It is good she is still sealed."
The two of us walk down the Ziggurat and are about to leave the city. However, before we can do that, I can see a familiar black-haired woman standing in front of me. This woman is Ushiwakamaru, the legendary Japanese Hero.
"Excuse me, but can we have some talk for a moment?"
