Chapter 16

I spent most of the journey focusing all my attention on the road in front of me and driving my car at a moderate speed.

With Hannah refusing to sit beside me like she did before I pulled over to my car, I'm forced to drive my car alone and think of myself as Hannah's personal chauffeur, ready to take her anywhere she wants.

What an insolent woman, I muttered to myself as I held back my irritation at the woman who leaned her head against my car window and acted like it was no big deal.

I then shook my head and clicked my tongue, thinking of all the ways I could get her to apologize to me for what she had done to me earlier.

Unfortunately, I couldn't think of anything other than trying to figure out how we could get to our destination on time, safe and sound, without destroying my entire car.
