Let loose and live

"Tell Humphrey to turn the car around, we're ready to leave" Milan told a man dressed in a white and black tuxedo, her butler.

"Yes, Miss" he bowed and left.

Judith's loud voice filled the whole space, she blabbed on and on about how elaborate her plan would be.

Milan didn't mind her loudness, she loved to see her friend express herself any way she chose to.

It had grown on her since that was basically the reason they became friends in the first place, one quiet and the other loud.

After a few minutes, they exited the building.

The car engine was on, signifying that Humphrey, the driver, was prepared.

They hopped in and laughed all the way as the car speakers shuffled from one song to another... A whole lit playlist.

¶ Tell me you love me, tell me everything's gon' be okay....

Tell me you love me, tell me you love me and you gon' stay...

Tell me you love me, tell me you love me won't go nowhere...

Tell me you love me...tell me you loveeee me

With their arms around each other, they sang with all their hearts. They both loved this song because to them, it was a love song to each other.

The volume went low and it seemed the song was going to change.

The next song was an all time favourite.... Beauty and a beat by the one and only Justin Bieber featuring the queen of rap, Nicki Minaj.

They squealed and gushed over how much of a pretty boy the artist was and how amazing his voice sounded.

The car ride was smooth and fun and in no time, they arrived at the venue.

It was on a private beach which intrigued Judith.

All she could think was how the place would be crawling with rich people.

She couldn't wait to spread her web and grab as many of them as she could.

They alighted from the car, not waiting for Humphrey to open the door for them.

Greeted by men in black, they walked towards the entrance exuding elegance.

They walked with confidence and eyes were being drawn to them.

Jaws were on the floor, admiring their presence.

They felt on top of the world at that moment.

They loved how others appreciated their beauty. It was a lovely sight to behold.

But Milan noticed something odd. They stared for way too long. She knew the dress she wore was beautiful but it wasn't a jaw-dropping outfit.

See was confused until she saw someone motion their arm towards her.

Me? She thought.

No it wasn't, it was something behind her, someone.

Turning her head slowly, she saw the most beautiful person her eyes had ever seen.

Tequila Almanzar... She was gorgeous.

She wore a dark green see through dress with selectively covered areas.

She looked like a goddess and as expected, all the men and women were attracted to her almost instantly.

Judith's face turned sour not because she hated the lady but because the beautiful woman would make her plans unsuccessful.

She's not even that pretty, Judith spat under her breath.

Oh yes, she was.

People rushed towards them and pushed them away from the entrance to make way for their goddess to pass.

Milan didn't mind all these, after all she only came here to have fun.

"We love you tequila" someone shouted making everyone echo that sentence and scream even more.

Judith's jealousy and hatred grew by the second.

"Let's go in" Milan pulled Judith's arm.

They walked in and my oh my..... Everyone there looked like a million bucks.

There was a spot on the floor where there was a concentration of rich businessmen, all in one area, and Judith was ready to go crazy for them all.

She left Milan standing by herself to go and socialize. Milan smiled at her little behavior and decided to get drinks.

At the bar, the bartender twirled the bottle in his hand and turned it over. He began his tricks and she had to hand it to him, he was really good at what he did.

"You know, after all these tricks, I'll probably just ask for a coke" she smiled showing her teeth.

He laughed, "and I'd do it again"

She smiled and took the pretty looking drink he offered.

The party was a good one. It had a range of activities. There were good drinks, comedians, dancers, artists, it was great.

After a while, Milan said fuck it.

She wanted to dance her ass off tonight. Who knew when next she'd be invited to such a party.

She strutted to the dance floor and moved her shoulders. Her hips followed suit and her body began to really move.

The DJ understood the assignment and played Work by Rihanna.... Milan's favourite song of all time.

¶ Work, work, work, work, work, work

He said me haffi work, work, work, work, work, work

He see me do mi dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt

So me put in work, work, work, work, work, work

When you ah gon' learn, learn, learn, learn, learn?

Me nuh care if him hurt, hurt, hurt, hurt, hurting

She let the music take over her and let herself move.

Unknown to her, all eyes were on her.

Judith clenched her jaw because her friend was stealing too much attention. Especially that of the men she was talking to at that moment.

She felt like she was in a field, all by herself, so she danced like no one was watching.

Milan was having the time of her life.

She grabbed the attention of everyone in the hall, including The Tequila Almanzar.

The music was changed and other people joined her on the dance floor.

Now she was dancing with them, eyes open, wide smiles and laughing.

The DJ ended the dance session with a gentle beat and the host of the party took to the stage.

He began addressing everyone and thanking them all for honouring his invitation.

Milan was at the bar again, to get another drink since the other one was really good.

"You're a great dancer, miss" the bartender spoke out.

"Thank you, I learnt a few tricks before going on the dance floor" she replied with a small smile.

"Where did you learn them from?" He asked.

She leaned closer and used her finger to tell him to come closer. He drew in and she whispered "you" with a giggle.

He laughed. "I'm glad you found me worthy of copying" he bowed.

She laughed more and before she could utter anything, Big brown eyes appeared in front of her face.

"Judith!!" She was happy to see her friend.

"Don't Judith me..... Why did you go to dance like that?" Judith was frowning.

"Am I not allowed to dance at a party I was invited to?" Milan cocked her eyebrow.

Staring back at her, she didn't understand why Judith was being like this.
