A young boy named Owen Creeks dies, sending his soul to the mysterious land between the mortal and spiritual realms. As he wanders the strange land, he stumbles upon The Keeper of The Veil. Together the boys team up to stop the necromancers who are trying to break the laws of reality and harness the power of life and death.

The Crow and The Boy

 Owen and Ash had spent time resting after their discussions. The warm cottage brought a sense of comfort and safety to both of the boys. They both lay in the loft of Ash’s home. Owen lies sleeping on the opposite side of the bed as Ashton sits up to read. 


 Owen rubs his eyes as he sits up, realizing he had fallen asleep listening to Ash discuss his plans for the doctor. Owen didn’t fully understand what he was talking about, but he certainly got the gist. Ash is going to give the doctor a chance just to tell them everything, and if she doesn't, Ash is just going to have to force it out of her. 


 Owen still doesn’t know how to feel about the short boy having to kill the doctor, but he knows it has to be done. Owen just thinks to himself and agrees that it was for the greater good, and now knowing there is an entire cult of necromancers… the Veil could be in more danger than he thought.
