54. Nana II

"Nana," he called again.

The little endearment itself brought so many memories. I couldn't believe my eyes but my ears were the ones that perked up at his voice.

It didn't make sense how we have searched for them for months with us not winning, yet here they were in front of me all healthy and well even bulkier.

I quickly sniffed up the wet boogers ready to slide out of my nose and batted my eyes to hold back my tears. I now understood what Miss Smith-Sokolov meant when she had said they looked different and more masculine than I last saw them.

Both stood proud and tall with their auras screaming power. I didn’t know much about where they were but I guess wherever they were was the reason they presented themselves so powerful for people who were just eighteen.
