The day after the party sure started stranger than expected. I might have played it cool, but learning that Tammy was a dude messed with my brain. I was so used to chilling with her ... him? No, her. Anyway. I was so used to chilling with Tammy and doing my usual thing of just playfully flirting and teasing just to give her a friendly jab sometimes that knowing she was a guy made me question how to approach her. 


The fact that July broke up with her after that party didn't help either. I barely took two steps towards her when she walked into the yard before her glare shut me down. I mean ... Generally, I didn't care much if I triggered her before, but I value my bodily well-being. So I let her be on her own for a while. It took about three days before she was in a decent mood again and vented to me. 


At least that meant she did have a person to hang out with when July stuck to the rest of their circle.
