Special Chapter : Signs (3)

Springtime in Italy could be quite confusing.

Sometimes the weather was incredibly friendly, warm, and beautiful, making everyone happy to venture out and enjoy the sunshine. But then suddenly, out of the blue, it would turn chilly and cloudy, followed by a sudden downpour of heavy rain—a highly unpredictable climate.

As someone who had lived in this city for a long time, Ezra had grown accustomed to it. Knowing this, he should have stored an umbrella in his locker, but just like the other students, who were also lazy to carry umbrellas, Ezra stood silently in front of the school entrance.

The noisy sound of raindrops hitting the ground echoed in the air. So many students gathering, leaning against the walls or simply sitting around with their friend group, waiting patiently for the rain to subside, while some daringly ran through the downpour.
