Chapter 32: Sleeping with Min Yun

I tried to woke up even though my head hurts. I opened my eyes while touching my head and saw Min Yun lying on the other side of the bed.

I checked my clothes. Nothing happened right? I don't even know what happened last night. Did I do something wrong?

I bit my lower lip. How can I faced him if I really did something wrong? I wanted to punch myself about that thought. I would never ever dare to drink liquor if it would affect my actions and thinking.

Min Yun turned around in my direction and now I could see his face.

He looked innocent while sleeping like how the king slept.

I remembered again the night where the king and I slept together. And now Min Yun and I slept together!

I shrugged my head. It looked like I was cheating with one of them. It was never my intention to slept with them. It looked like it was getting normal for us here. Where in fact I am a woman with dignity! Never ever in my world have I tried to slept with a man. I even barely slept with Von in one bed.

I wanted to wake up Min Yun but he was sleeping like a baby. Maybe I shouldn't disturb him because this was the only proper sleep he had since he was busy handling many cases occured.

I just stared at his face because I don't want to moved a bit because that might woke him up. I put my arm on my head to make it a pillow while still staring at Min Yun.

I would never get tired saying thank you to Min Yun for all his kindness he showed me. From the day I arrived in this place up until now. I was grateful I met him first because I don't know what would happened to me if he was not there.

"Do I have dirt on my face?"

I was stunned and felt nervous when suddenly Min Yun spoke.

"Huh?" I don't even know what to say.

"You keep on staring at me." Min Yun smiled.

"You sleep like a baby, that's why." I reasoned out.

"Did I wake up late?"

"I don't know what time it is. But I think we need to go back to the palace now."

He nodded. " Is your head aching?"

I nodded.

" l broke the rule. I said that we will not drink a lot but I won't be able to control it."

"It was my fault too."

"Maybe this is the last time, for now."

I laughed. "I agree."

Min Yun stood up and stretched his body. I also stood up and helped him fixed the beddings.

After we fixer everything inside, we went out the room and saw the old woman who served us foods yesterday.

"You already woke up!" the old woman exclaimed.

Her stare means something to me. It looked like she was telling us that we spent the night together in the room.

"I made a soup for your hangover. I'm sorry I haven't attended you last night because someone I knew came. And If I knew that you would be spending the night here, I should be the one to arrange the room for you."

"It is okay. We really had no plan to stay here last night. But because we were both tipsy that's why we decided to spend the night here."

"When will be the wedding?" she looked at Min Yun meaningfully.

"Where's the soup?" he diverted to other topic. Again he didn't correct what the old woman said. I wanted to correct it but I couldn't get the timing.

"I'll be serving your breakfast too. Have it before you go back to the palace."

"Thank you so much." Min Yun smiled.

The old woman left to get our breakfast. I started sipping the soup in a small bowl that was served to us.

"I like it."

"It really helps you lessen your headache. "

I nodded.

"Did you sleep well?" Min Yun asked.

I nodded. Should I asked him if I did a mistake last night?

"Did I make something awful last night?"

"Are you like that if you get drunk?"

" I don't know. In my world, I was just drinking beer with Von but I had never tried drinking with other people. "

"Don't worry, you didn't do anything awful last night. I was just telling you something but you just slept."

"I'm sorry if I slept without a warning."

The old woman went back to our table to serve our breakfast.

"Eat a lot." she said.

"Thank you." Min Yun and I said it.

"I won't be staying here for too long, my visitors from last night were still here."

We nodded. When she left, we started eating our breakfast.

"I like how she made the food. It is authentic."

"That's the reason why the king and I always go back here since we were a child."

"Can't you let the chef cooked it for you?"

"It tasted different. "

"We should go back here with the king. I'm sure he'll appreciate it."

"Yes, let's do that sometime."

After we finished eating, we bid goodbye to the owner of the restaurant and told her how we appreciated her efforts in serving us delicious foods.

"Do you think Ji han looked where we are?"

"Surely."

"What would you tell?"

"that we slept together."

"Min Yun!" I sounded like a child when I called his name. I don't know if he was joking or what.

"It's the truth, right?"

"But we can't tell that. What would Ji han think about us?"

"About us?"

He looked serious asking that question. That reminded me when he didn't even corrected the old woman.

"You just let her think that we are a couple right?"

"I just let her think that way."

"Why? even the old lady in Kipatchi town."

"I just wanted to be that way."

I don't know how to answer it. Was it because it would be a long explanation if he would tell that were cousin?

"I'll be very busy starting today. I won't be in the palace for a week."

"A week? Where are you going?"

"I have things to do."

"How about me?"

"Just be with the king. "

I frowned. Can I really survived without Min Yun?

"You can survive." he chuckled.

I frowned again. How did he know my thoughts?"

"It's an important matter. I will go back when I finish the things that I need to do."

"Can't I come?"

"You can't"

"Okay."

"Don't worry. I'll try my best to go back here. But I can't promise when."

I just nodded. Seems like I should be spending the whole week alone or with the king.
