Looking back, Cheng Ying happened to see Yue Ran standing in the light and looking at him with a tender gaze. Then, just as if he had received some kind of confirmation, the young man clenched his fists firmly, exhaled lightly, and solidly engraved the young woman's current image in his heart, mind, and bones. Following that, he lifted his feet and proceeded to walk into the darkness.

It will be a month before they can see each other again.

Cheng Ying had just made it into the car with his parents, and he simply gazed upon his parents in silence. He silently watched the scene in which the two people stripped off their hypocritical masks and began to argue about his school arrangements.

The young man's whole body suddenly trembled without warning. His desire to escape nearly made his quivering body involuntarily seek an escape route—to open the car door and flee from the scene.

But, in the end, he did manage to hold this urge back.
