"I'm not coming home today."
Camille Victoria rarely contradicted Lincoln like this.
"Do your parents know you're not going back tonight?" Lincoln asked.
The girl's voice suddenly became much quieter, "I left them a note."
After saying that, she added, "Besides, I'm already of age. They said that once I'm an adult, they won't restrict when I come home."
Lincoln smiled silently, sat on the bed, and held her in his arms, "I'm meeting your parents tomorrow. If you sleep here tonight, will they kick me out tomorrow?"
"If the first impression is poor, they won't be happy when I ask for their blessing, right?"
Who knew the Little Princess would shake her head confidently and say, "No!"
"I can handle it! They will definitely like you! I guarantee it!"
Clearly, she was very confident in dealing with her parents and expressly willing to share any pressure Lincoln might face from them.
—Even more than share, she outright said "solve," and it was a "guaranteed solution"!
