Through the window, the environment outside was a sight to behold. Rays of light in various hues of yellow, orange, and red, shone through the window, casting a warm glow on Asher's cute face. The light reflected in his eyes, accentuating the unique shade of his eyes, which appeared to be a mix of blue and green.
As the train continued to move through the jungle, Asher could hear the sounds of nature all around him. The rustling of the trees, the chirping of the birds, and the buzz of insects filled the air. Speaking of insects, there were some that were bigger than anything Asher had ever seen. Some were as big as his hand, while others were the size of a small car. They had vibrant colors, ranging from bright blue to neon pink, and their wings shimmered in the sunlight. Some even had glowing patterns that seemed to change and shift as they flew.
The sounds of the train were also audible, chugging and groaning as it made its way through the dense foliage. Asher could feel the vibrations of the tracks through the floor of the train car. The smells of the jungle were also present, with different fragrances of plants wafting through the window. The sweet scent of blooming flowers mixed with the earthy smell of wet soil and the tangy aroma of exotic fruits.
"Be careful of th-" Asher was engrossed in reading information on the system when he was jolted out of his focus by a loud thunderous sound that echoed through the train. The electric sounds that followed only added to the confusion, making Asher jump out of his seat. "What the f*ck was that?!" he exclaimed, bewildered.
Without wasting a moment, Asher rushed towards the window and looked out in the direction of the sound. His eyes widened in shock as he saw two beings engaged in a fierce fight in the distance. One was an old man, dressed in clothes that reminded him of the cultivation novels he had read in his childhood. He had long, flowing white hair that added to his imposing appearance. On the other side stood a green-colored being, looking like a cross between a turtle and a man, wielding two short swords with deadly precision.
As Asher observed the scene, he couldn't help but marvel at the surrealism of it all. "This place is unbelievable," he whispered to himself. "That creature over there looks like something out of a fairytale, and that old man looks like he's been ripped straight from the pages of a classic novel."
However, Asher's excitement was short-lived as he saw something that made his blood run cold. Ahead of the train, he saw an old building that looked like a train station. His heart began to race as he realized the danger that lay ahead. If the two figures spotted him, he was certain he would be killed. He could sense their immense power and knew that they were probably higher than silver rank, perhaps even at the golden rank.
As Asher anxiously watched as the train got closer to the station, he saw the fight between the old white-haired geezer and the half-turtle man continue.
"Back in my day, we didn't have mutants running around like you. We had good old-fashioned fist fights," mocked the white-haired geezer, his voice dripping with contempt.
The half-turtle man snarled in response, "You're still yapping, old man? I bet you're half a foot in the grave already. And speaking of halves, you're looking like half the man you used to be."
The old geezer's fury only grew and he raised his palm, unleashing a bolt of lightning that streaked towards the half-turtle man with incredible speed. But the half-turtle man was ready and quickly covered his hands, which were protected by tough turtle shells, in a layer of earth element.
The lightning bolt struck the half-turtle man's earth shield with a deafening crack, sending a shower of sparks flying in all directions. The half-turtle man grunted in pain as his arms were knocked back, leaving minor burn marks on his skin.
Undeterred, the half-turtle man quickly regained his footing and charged towards the white-haired man, his short swords ready for a fierce fight. The old man didn't budge from his position, still looking coldly at his opponent.
The half-turtle man swung his short swords towards the old man's face, but he dodged it with ease, stepping aside and sending a swift kick towards the half-turtle man's back. The half-turtle man staggered but quickly regained his balance, retaliating with a flurry of punches and kicks that the old man evaded with agility.
The two continued to exchange blows, the sound of their fists and feet hitting each other echoing through the air. The half-turtle man's speed and strength were impressive, but the old man's experience and technique made up for his slower movements.
Suddenly, the old man stopped in his tracks and raised his hand again, calling forth a massive bolt of lightning from the sky that struck the ground where the half-turtle man stood. The force of the blast sent the half-turtle man flying back, crashing into a nearby wall.
As the half-turtle man crashed into the wall, you could hear the sickening sound of bones and shells breaking on impact. Blood spattered the wall as several pieces of broken bone protruding from the half-turtle man's body. Asher watched in horror as the old man approached the fallen fighter, a sinister look could be seen on his face.
