Sometimes Ignorance Keeps You Safe

Jiang Jingchen walked into the Jiang family villa.

The Jiang residence was luxurious and occupied a large area. It had also been fitted with top-notch security system and no person could enter without a pass.

Jiang Jingchen sneaked in through the kitchen with Song Kai's help. Song Kai asked him what he was up to.

Jiang Jingchen casually picked up some cherry tomatoes from a fruit plate, put them into his mouth and then rolled up his sleeves.

"Go ahead and do your thing. Pretend that you never saw me. Collaborator, sometimes ignorance keeps you safe."

Song Kai was annoyed that he was looked down upon.

"Are you sure you don't need my help in whatever you are planning to do?"

"Plans change all the time. What's the fun if they remain static?" Jiang Jingchen comforted him worriedly as he straightened his chef's hat with a sneer.
