Comprehending Heavenly Lightning
Because he has decided to become a cook, that would mean he has to buy all the things he needed to start his shop. He already have his house which seems to have been greatly expanded when he upgraded it to the Super Rare category, so he can use the wide front room in it as the front for his planned restaurant.
The only thing left are the ingredients and the furnitures for it. He barely has any furniture in his house because he doesn't really need it. He is living by his lonesome so there is no need for him.
Now he really needs it, so he thinks he have to buy some cheap things on the furniture shops. That will cost a lot but he thinks he might be able to afford at least some of their cheapest.
It will used up most of his money. So the problem will be about the food.
He actually have an idea what to do about that. Demon Beasts are very delicious which is evident when he tasted it himself. So he decided to hunt for his own ingredients.
Though, before he can do that, he has to be sure that nothing bad will happen to him. Those are Demon Beasts and they are known to be more stronger than a normal Cultivator.
The only way to be sure is to increase his cultivation base. He have enough points to increase both of his Cultivation Rank and his Spiritual Rank to the next level.
So that's why he is going to go deeper in the forest.
It's in the middle of the night. He was using his Fleeting Death Arts, Presence Concealment, and his Sprint technique to get deeper within the Green Abyss Forest. To really make sure that no one can see him.
His newfound speed and strength easily enables him to cover thousands of miles away from the city. Though as he walks deeper into the forest, he always kept encountering Demon Beasts more terrifying than the Feral Wolves.
He passes through them without them noticing him. He kept changing his direction when he felt like he is getting too deep within the forest.
He encountered a lot of terrifying creatures just by this part of the forest. He didn't want to meet his Heavenly Tribulation on the deeper parts where he is sure that more stronger Demon Beasts are lurking.
It took him awhile before he finally finds something. It is a cave on the side of a mountain. The cave looks more like a cliff as it's roof have a snake-y path-like opening. Making it so that the moonlight shines on the path within this cave.
He entered that cave and quickly scouted ahead. The cave is not that long and he easily found a large room with a wide opening on the roof of the cave. Giving it a mystical feeling as the moonlight shines gently on the room.
"This is a good place!" He muttered to himself. Feeling glad that he found a safe place.
He takes a sit in the middle of this wide room and then looks at his status.

He only needs ten thousand points each to upgrade his Cultivation and Spiritual Rank. He already knows that he will get a Heavenly Tribulation as he was warned awhile ago when he tried to advance to the Mountain Realm.

With that, he picks the "+" button on the Cultivation Rank.

He picks the "Y" button with a serious look, before looking up on the exposed skies within this cave.
The night sky got quickly covered in the clouds once more. This time it seems to become more larger. He can feel that this Heavenly Tribulation will become more harsh.
"Bring it on!" He pumps himself up as he looks up at the sky. Flaring his Defensive Aura, preparing his Qi Manipulation and Lightning Control, then hoping that his Lightning Resistance is strong enough to keep himself safe.
In a single flash, a lightning much larger than the one he receives when he ascended to Nature Realm struck him straight. He gritted his teeth as he tried to endure the expected burning feeling of this Heavenly Lightning.
"Huh!?" Though he gasps in surprised when he barely felt anything other than a tingly feeling.
It still felt difficult to control the Heavenly Lightning through his Qi Manipulation and Lightning Control, but he can control it bit by bit. His Defensive Aura and Lightning Resistance seems to have helped him greatly.
With this Heavenly Tribulation, he even felt something within his blood is boiling as if being awakened.
It took three seconds before the lightning is done, though in a split second that he let out a sigh of relief, another lightning fell to his figure. This time it is much stronger.
"What!?" He is surprised when another lightning fell on him.
He quickly have an inkling why.
'Wait, will I get struck with more tribulation lightning when ascending to the higher realm!?' He exclaimed within his thoughts, surprised but somewhat understanding.
Of course the Heavens won't make things easier for him. Being a Cultivator is exactly trying to defy the Heavens and their fate. It's called a tribulation because it's a punishment against those who is going against the Natural Order!
'But... this wasn't enough!' He grinned at that.
Even when he felt the slightly scalding feeling of this stronger lightning, it wasn't enough to even hurt him.
'This is an opportunity!' He thought. His eyes lighting up in excitement.
He wanted to control Heavenly Lightning Qi. It's what he is truly gunning for when he was trying to learn elemental control. He wanted to burn his enemies with Heavenly Lightning to show that he was not to be trifled with.
Now he can use this tribulation to acquire an insight. With his Lightning Control and maxed level Qi Manipulation, he will become more stronger by forcefully trying to comprehend and control the punishment from the Heavens.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaa!" He let out a warcry as he tries to burst through the difficulty of controlling this heavenly lightning.
It is unlike a normal lightning which only felt excitable and quick. This one is more tyrannical. As if it will burn even his metaphysical nerves just by daring to command it. It's essence is so mysterious, and more potent than the profound energies around this world. Even his mastery over Qi Manipulation is just scratching the surface of this Heavenly Lightning Qi.
Though, it is still lightning. Despite the mysterious essence of it's Qi and it's many times strength as normal lightning, the way it moves is still the same.
He failed at the second try as the heavenly tribulation is done after another three seconds, though a third lightning struck him. This one is more stronger than the earlier ones combined.
This also gave him the push to finally acquire that comprehension.
"Got you!" He grinned as he finally managed to absorb some of these Heavenly Lightning Qi, and instead of purifying it within his internal Qi, he let it move around his body as if playing with it.
As his body bathed on the destructive might of this heavenly lightning, his expression can only be considered of that in bliss. His eyes focusing on the prompt that appeared in front of him.

The Heavenly Tribulation is finally finished. It took ten seconds in total before the Heavenly Tribulation is done.
His whole body is left unscathed. Only a bit of soot is sticking to his cheek which he didn't bother to wipe as he stood up with a large grin on his face.
"Hahaha! I have the Heavenly Lightning Control! I'm the strongest!"
It felt like a great achievement for him. Who would guess that he can actually something that only the Heavens have? Isn't that amazing!
His eyes quickly looks at his status.
