A Reunion was Always Good

[Ceobe POV]

In the past, I have two good friends and one of them is like an older sister to me.

She is very kind, wise, and likes to eat food more than I do.

Other than her knowledge for quirky quotes, she is also an anime fan as well.

One day, we decided to cosplay as our favorite character in the game called Arknights and attend an anime convention. The character that she chose to be was Saga and mine was Ceobe.

Meanwhile, our other friend was quite shy to say her chosen character, so she told us that she will reveal it when we arrive at the convention.

When we heard her bashful statement, we couldn't help to smile wryly at her timid nature and moved on creating our costume.

It took us several months to make our cosplay attires and we managed to finish it before the anime convention begins.

We put so much efforts in the details and realism of the costume that we feel like the real-life version of the character when we wore it.

Because of that effort, the three of us won the competition for best cosplay and each of us received a price that for some reason, I could not remember.

Now that I think about it, what did we won exactly?

Anyway, after the event was over, I said good bye to my two friends and went home. But then when I went to sleep, I somehow end up in an unknown world without any explanation.

This caused me to worry when I couldn't able to see my two friends ever again. That is until I found one of them in front of me right now.

With long black hair, fluffy dog ears and a loose dark robe that looks too big for her size, it looks exactly like the cosplay attire that we made back then.

I approached the black-haired beast girl and we look at each other's eyes. How nostalgic, we used to wear colored contacts to match the character's eyes but now they look very realistic.

"Do you remember me?"

I asked in Japanese just to be sure if she could recognize me, which she nodded and smiled at me.

"Yes, I do"

[Rudeus POV]

This is truly surprising.

I didn't expect to see that Ceobe and Saga know each other. I understand that they were both Japanese in their previous life but seeing them having a close relationship is quite new to me.

"Hey Rudeus, who is this beast girl? Where you found her?"

On the other hand, Eris excitedly asked me about Saga's identity while she points at her. Ruijerd also wants to know who she is, anticipating for my answer.

"Well, this is Saga, and I found her injured in an alleyway this morning?"

Eris and Ruijerd nodded understandingly to my reply, but Ceobe was very concerned when she heard about it. So, she approached me and grabbed my shoulder before asking me question.

"How did she got injured?!"

"She got run over by a horse earlier, but I healed her so she's fine"

Although I reassured her that Saga was okay, Ceobe was still not convinced and pushes the matter further by asking another question.

"Tell me, what happened afterwards that, Rudeus?"

Well, you see...."

I told everyone about what happened this morning up until now, informing them about rescuing a kidnapped kid, which leads me in meeting my father and got into an argument with him, then I met little sister afterwards, and lastly, I got myself humiliated after finding out that the rest of family was missing.

"I see, so you met your father..."

"How could your father would do such a thing, Rudeus?!"

Ceobe and Eris were visibly upset after listening to my story and both of them were about to storm out the room but Ruijerd and Saga blocked the exit.

"Step aside, Ruijerd"

"Yeah, move away, Saga"

"Calm down, you two. Don't get yourself into someone's family squabbles"

"I don't know what is happening here, but please settle down"

Ruijerd and Saga tried their best to pacify the two aggressive girls and they end up suggesting to comfort me.

This causes the two to become flustered as they approach me and proceed to talk about their adventures, as well as hugging me from both sides in order to cheer me up.

"Don't worry, Rudeus. We're here for you"

"Yeah, forget about those problems for now"

"Heh, thank you two"

[Third POV]

Later that night, Rudeus prompted everyone except for Saga, to gather around and they discussed their new plan for tomorrow.

He told them that Saga will be staying with them for a while and he will be teaching her human-language tomorrow so that she can communicate with others.

Ceobe then suggested that she wants to join him as well and teach Beast god language to Saga. Rudeus knew that she wants to talk more with her friend, so he agrees.

After that, Eris will be doing the same quest tomorrow and Ruijerd will also go somewhere, even though it is just an excuse to watch over Eris.

Finally, Rudeus dismisses the meeting and everyone were preparing themselves to sleep, except there's one problem.

"My lord, how about me? Where do I sleep?" Saga asked, wondering where would she rest within the room.

"Ah, sorry. I almost forgot"

"What's did she say, Rudeus?" Eris inquires, wanting to understand Saga's Japanese statement.

"Saga was asking where will she sleep"

"Is that so? Then she can share bed with me if she wants" Eris excitedly suggested, eagerly excited to get close to Saga.

Upon seeing Eris's fetish resurface once again, Rudeus couldn't help himself to agree with her suggestion.

Rudeus then talks to Saga and told her that she will be sharing bed with Eris. The beast girl calmly complies and went to sit next to Eris who is currently breathing heavily.

The red-haired girl couldn't control herself and immediately hugged Saga's tail, which started the black-haired beast girl. When Ceobe saw the scene plays out, she becomes jealous, went towards Eris's bed and offers her tail to be touched as well.

Eris who was overwhelmed with joy, accepted the offer and she buried her face with the fluffy tails of two beast girls in front of her and giggles happily.

"Hehehe~"

"Oh boy, what have I done?" Rudeus said as watches the three beautiful girls with regrets.

Meanwhile, back in the bar, Paul was getting himself drunk with alchohol after Rudeus left the scene in embarrassment.

The drunk man was still frustrated because of what happened earlier and tries his best not to forget about it.

"Damn, that bastard. How could he do this to me?" Paul grudgingly said to himself as he chugs another bottle of beer.

*creak*

While Paul was drinking, someone entered the bar and walks towards his direction. Then the mysterious person sat next to Paul and spoke.

"You know, Paul. I haven't seen you for a while but damn, you look terrible"

"!!"

Paul was surprised to hear a familiar voice beside him, so he stopped chugging his beer and turn his head to the person next to him.

"Geese?! What are you doing here, you bastard?"

"I'm just stopping by and then I found you here"

"Tch, whatever"

"What's wrong, you look gloomy"

"It's nothing. Leave me alone"

"Don't be like that, Paul. Tell me about it"

Geese prompted Paul to spill the beans while waving at the waiter to order some drinks. The drink arrived at their table and he listened to all of the man's complaints and frustration.

After several bottle of beers later, Paul finished telling his story to Geese and the monkey man nodded as he understood the drunk man's situation.

"Ah, I see now. You met your son again, huh"

"That's right! He failed me and brought a lady friend to show off!"

"I get your point. But aren't you a bit too harsh with your son, Paul?"

"Huh?! What do you mean by that?!"

Geese explained himself by saying that Rudeus is just a kid, even though he is a genius magician. Moreover, he further clarified that the boy traveled the Demon continent for a whole year.

However, Paul just brushed it off, saying that any genius person like him can survive that place, in which Geese disagrees. He told Paul that the Demon continent has a very harsh environment that is dangerous for any kid like Rudeus to be in.

"And what's your point here, Geese?"

"My point is that you should be glad that he made here in one piece"

"...."

"Or maybe you're expecting him to come here with a missing limb or two, weren't you?"

"!!"

Paul was flabbergasted by Geese words and couldn't think of a way to rebuke it. He glared at the monkey man who is casually chugging a bottle of bear.

"You know, Paul. It's never too late to speak with him and work things out. Also, please do me a favor and fix yourself, you look terrible"

Geese said as stands up from his chair and turns around to leave. But then he looks back and asked one more question.

"And one more thing, you mentioned a lady friend of Rudeus, right?"

"Yes, so what?"

"Was she a brown-haired beast girl named Ceobe?"

"No, her name is Saga and she is a black-haired beast girl"

"I see... Thanks for the info. See you around"

Geese said goodbye to his friend before stepping out of the bar. After that, he stares at the sky while pondering about something.

"A black-haired beast girl named Saga, huh? Well, that's interesting" The monkey man mutters before he walks towards the street.
