War, a monster that ravages, a scourge upon the earth,
Bringing nothing but destruction, of all that it is worth.
It leaves behind a trail, of death and sorrow,
And leaves the wounded, with a pain that follows.
It's a storm of chaos, a tempest of hate,
A dance of violence, that seals our fate.
It pits nations against nations, and friends against friends,
And tears apart the fabric, of what love attends.
In the heat of battle, it's hard to know,
Who is right and who is wrong, in the world below.
We lose sight of the reason, and forget what we sought,
As we become consumed, by the wars we've brought.
But still the soldiers march, and the drums they beat,
For they believe in a cause, and they will not retreat.
They stand tall, they stand proud, they face every fear,
For they believe in the fight, and they will not shed a tear.
So let us work for peace, in every nation,
And let us end this war, with a heart full of devotion.
For war is not the answer, it brings nothing but pain,
And only leaves behind, a world of death and shame.
For in the end, it's not the weapons we've won,
But the lives we've saved, and the peace we've begun,
To forge a brighter world, where love can bloom,
And where war is but a distant memory, in a world that is free.
