Winter's Wonder

Winter's here, with a blanket of snow,

A world, of white, that sparkles and glows,

The air, is still, with a chill in the air,

Winter's wonder, a magic, beyond compare.

The trees, are dressed, in a coat of ice,

Their branches, a dance, in the winter's vice,

Their beauty, a sight, that takes one's breath,

A treasure, that winter, will cherish, till its end.

The sky, is dark, with a veil of stars,

A canvas, that sparkles, with its heavenly scars,

The moon, a beacon, in the winter's night,

A guide, that leads, with its silver light.

The snow, whispers soft, as it falls to the ground,

A melody, that winter, does so profound,

A lullaby, that soothes, the heart and soul,

A gift, that winter, gives, to make us whole.

So take a moment, and bask in its light,

The magic, of winter, that shines so bright,

And let its wonder, fill your heart,

With the peace, that makes, a winter's start.
