Ode to the World's Splendor

Oh this wondrous world unveiled before my gazing eyes

Majestic mountain peaks scraping azure skies

Rolling green hills and misty valleys low

Where tranquil rivers and streams ebb and flow

Such beauty laid out, how can one not marvel so?

Nature's canvas painted in sunbeams and rain

Verdant forests, flower-strewn meadows, rippling grain

Cascading waterfalls, glimmering after the rain

Peaceful pastures, stormy seas, beauty's refrain

Gleaming gemstones, vast deserts, delighting the eyes again

Magnificent creatures, great and small eking out their way

Soaring eagles, busy ants, cattle at play

Schools of fish swirling, migrating birds leading the way

Lions, pandas, elephants - all part of earth's bouquet

Glorious biodiversity on display

Sunrise luminance glowing soft on the land

Crimson and tangerine hues made by heaven's hand

Light dancing on water in colors bright and grand

Dusk falling gently, shadows stretch and expand

As the moon lights up the night, a sight so grand

Snow capped mountains reaching up to endless sky

Rolling green hills that never cease to pacify

Reflections on still waters, a mirrored facade

Monarch's orange wings kissing flowers goodbye

Grace and beauty wherever I cast my eye

The wonders of this world laid out across time

Pyramids, temples, towers that rhyme

With human hands' yearning reaching toward the sublime

Paintings, sculptures, epics, creations that chime

With rich history humanity works to enshrine

Cities bustling, neon signs ablaze at night

Symphonies soaring, galleries alight

Hands clasped in greeting, breaking bread in sight

Dancing lively, athletic feats unite

The beauty of human striving shining bright

But most of all, beauty lies in hearts unfurled

Seeing with compassion all people as my world

Past surface to spirit, all equally precious pearls

Looking into eyes glinting, seeing souls swirl

Uncovering the human beauty boys and girls

Oh so much beauty everywhere, we need only see

Opening eyes to really perceive life's intricacy

Past rush and worry, so much splendor, could we only be

Present to the moment's mystery, its whispered poetry

This world unveils such glory if we'll let it be

May I never lose wonder of sunrises and snowflakes

The laughter of children, leaves dancing as winds wake

Friends clasping hands, birds gliding over still lakes

So much loveliness surrounds if my fixed gaze breaks

Let me marvel anew at creation each dawn my eyes does take

Oh this wondrous world unveiled before my awaken gaze

Majestic mountain peaks scraping azure skies

Rolling green hills and valleys low where tranquil rivers rise

Revealing such beauty everywhere, oh could we only see

Past surface to splendor always before me
