“Mark me then,” Kathleen blurted without any doubt while looking Adrian straight to his eyes.

Adrian’s breath stopped as if it has been snatched from him. He didn’t knew that was what Kathleen’s gonna say, he was surprised.

“Are you sure? You will be stuck with me,” he answered while staring directly on his mates eyes.

“Until our last breath,”

But what surprised him was the smile that appears on Kathleen’s lips. As if she isn’t bothered with what he said.

He sighed before kissing his mates forehead, “Are you really that eager?” He reached the strand of hair and tacked it on her ear.

Kathleen smiled even more before answering, “Yeah, I am.” And lean forward as she captured Adrian’s lips.

They kissed each other with full of gentleness and love. Yes, they might not said it directly but they both knew the feeling was mutual.
