Oakland University is what the students call a mediocre university, and that’s considered a compliment considering it’s already one of the better universities in the local area. It wasn’t the best, but it’s definitely far cry from the worst.

On average, it boasts a meagre 36.7% succession rate in both licensure passing rate and career opportunities upon graduating. Not a very good number but on the upside, it provides for a better work-life balance than any other schools. It’s why students from all over the city prefer to study in this particular university. It's a school worth considering if you're a post-graduate student seeking further studies or a if you're a freshman who wish to seek work opportunities while studying.

If you ask Nathan, it’s the only niche this university has against other universities. It’s not that he isn’t grateful to his alma mater for his whole college life, but working here isn’t exactly the place he imagined himself to be after graduating.
