"God damnit... Why did I never give an exact location? I've been looking for a whole week and I haven't found shit... I can only blame my planning ability." Ray lamented
14 years had passed now and during this time all the Laya, Ray and, Cane had gone through extensive training to increase their own abilities. Ray had reached a similar level a to a trainee, no, a D- rank in terms of martial arts but however was a complete noob when it came to magic, despite his high status as a Valliant he didn't try show of his power and just acted like some typical rich kid. To him there seemed to be no benefit to standing out whilst he slowly recruits talented characters on what he calls 'whims'.
"Finally! I'm here... I'm wondering when my obsurd luck is ever going to come into play."
Currently Ray was at a mountain called Gallonstone that was just on the outskirts of the capital city, it took him a large amount of time and effort to convince his parents to even let him outside without any guards never mind to a potentially threatening mountain, however he eventually succeeded by putting on his most snobby act.
'Not one of my proudest moments but it felt nessecary. '
On the scale of Heilstone in it's entirety this mountain would still be considered extremely large with it being a frequent place for lower rank gates to appear mostly ranging from G - F. All gates had a relatively simple ranking system going from...
G
E
F
D
C
B
A
S
Of which go from weakest to strongest, similarly hunters strength levels followed this ranking system with them having plus and minus to show their level within said rank, they measure ones rank based on the energy that is contained in the dungeon or hunter. There were only two exceptions to this system with [Unique] gates which their difficult cannot be assessed by the energy signatures or [EX] gates which are often referred to as legendary or immeasurable gates as they are gates with energy signatures so high they cannot be recorded, luckily only two of these have ever appeared and both of which have been destroyed.
'Well... I know of 11 others, they are just simply sealed away. Those goddamn monsters, if at all optional I never want to have to deal with them.'
The monsters he was referring to were the great evils who invaded the world and were from a higher dimension than the one they existes on, damnation, or in other words the universe of demons. This is where the demons and some otherworldly beings ended up coming to existence In this world although incomparable to their predecessors.
'And due to some fucking idiots idea they decided to go ahead and seal these fuckers on one of the most populated planets that exists.'
Just thinking about the trouble he will experience due to some Trescendent beings that had the lack of ability to plan instead of throwing them on some desolate planet. He pushed all those thoughts aside as he stopped walking an saw a cave directly in front of him, there was an invisible blue barrier that looked similar to the system window and Ray tapped on it.
'This is it! Finally!'
[Would you like to enter the unique dungeon 'A Masters Guide's To Transendence'?]
[YES]
[NO]
Ray calmed himself down. He had to as despite it saying this was a guide all the trainers here in this dungeon were ancient heroes of legends and this is their record for future generations for growth and more than that...
'Each and every single one of them are completely batshit crazy bastards.'
Crazy wasn't even a good word to use in this scenario, they were simply pure insanity. In this dungeon you simply cannot die regardless of how you try similar to the training space so using this as context each and every single master would use this as an excuse to put the main cast through an unbelievable amount of agony.
'Maybe I'm here at a time before they became insane. Maybe I should of brought that bastard Lee Ah so that I'm not the only one suffering.'
The Lee Ah referred to was one of the many important characters in 'Veil Of The Monarch'. Despite his name he was an extremely muscled up guy to the point it looks uncomfortable and is also a martial arts genius. Ray had picked him up and taught him martial arts before they had properly developed in this world, initially Lee Ah would become as strong as S rank being the first S rank martial artist in the world and showing that martial arts shouldn't be looked down on or oppressed. He is extremely hard working in nature but...
'These guys don't even know martial artists exists... Bringing him wouldn't help his strength since he cares for nothing but martial arts. As for the other 3... Well they don't have the ability to withhold doing this type of training.. Did I choose bad allies?'
He knew all his allies would become extremely strong I the future however with the exception of Lee Ah who was currently at F+ rank all of the others scrapped at barely E rank.
'Guess I'll have to make them do more training when I get back. They may be having fun but I know what's coming and don't want them to waste their time on childish things.'
He sighs as clicks [YES] which prompted another window to appear.

Ray shook his head as he thought for a second about the masters even though he already knew about all of them. He wanted to re-affirm himself after seeing the window but he knew what he was going to choose. He stretched out his hand and clicked on the window with a smile.
"I think I'll choose this one."
