Chapter 11 : Epiphany

In the field with several students, two individuals that looked like a couple walked out from the chamber. It was none other than Leo and Eleanor.

"Honestly, I was very surprised on how much you've grown in such a short time"

"Same can be said to you, Leo.."

The two momentarily got flocked by numerous students, while Lo stares from afar as he trains around the corner.

"As expected, the outcome of the fight is very clear."

It's the same as what the novel have describe, the fight in the novel described Leo to be an typical overpowered protagonist, who had bullsh*t powers.

The fight also made me curious on how I am faring against someone like Leo, I might as well check my attributes and ranks to see if there are any major changes.

[ Lo, ???

Rank : 0th(peak) Mortal Rank

Strength : 0th ( 9.54 ) -> 0th+ ( 11.34 )

Agility : 0th+ ( 12.26 ) -> 0th+ ( 13.96 )

Perception : 0th+ ( 10.51 ) -> 0th+ ( 12.01 )

Intelligence : 0th ( 8.3 ) -> 0th+ ( 10.1 )

Mana Capacity : 0th ( 7.6 ) -> 0th ( 9.1 )

**System Review : ( 9.64 ) -> ( 11.302 )**..

]

I've already reached peak mortal rank from the battles that I have gone through but compared to Leo, I'm not even close to his level yet.

However my rate of growth is kind of abnormal, It's probably due to my hidden title that I got an increased in attribute stats, and I also noticed how my sword techniques are much more proficient than before.

The reason might also lay behind the title itself, since the title provides me 50% proficiency on using any type of weapon. this title basically can make me a weapon master of any sorts, as I can master every weapon I want.

The title itself is just an cheat. however, It also provided me a skill that can be considered a walking calculator, the skill had helped me numerous times inside and outside of combat.

In addition, this skill clears my mind and allows me to think of the best decisions in each and every possible situation.

However the scary part about this skill is that, my actions will always be the best possible scenario for victory or success.

Which also means that the skill makes me to have a guaranteed win, even if the cost of the win is a part of my body.

When I used this skill before the test, I thought that this skill is just too perfect, not only does it make the me think of the best decision in the combat, but it also heightened my sense and immunity to mental attacks.

However, now that I think about it, the thought of me using my own body as a bait for the snow wolf, made me a little wary about using such dangerous skill that could potentially hurt myself.

But it's the only skill that will help me currently in battle, as I don't have any other options right now, and to me even if this skill is dangerous, as long as I can use this skill to win against my opponent then it doesn't matter.

Even the lowest rank student currently inside the class is at the peak mortal rank, and here I am, just recently broke through the peak mortal rank.

Essentially, I am one of the weakest students in my class, which sucks. however, it's a blessing in disguise.

After all I won't invite trouble as long as I don't do anything eye-catching.

Thinking about trouble that I've encountered, I immediately recall about the situation back in the public training gym.

That bald guy said something about not being able to sense my rank, does that mean other people cannot sense my rank?

While deep in my thoughts, I stared at the students in the distance, and suddenly I felt a cold gaze landed on me.

Turning my head towards the young girl, I could see Aya staring at me warily as though I'm her nemesis of sorts.

"Why is she staring at me? did I offend her accidentally, Aya usually is a timid girl and always has a good reasoning."

Speculations and theory popping inside my head, "Does she know that I am a transmigrator?"

Suddenly I solemnly thought, "What if, I got transmigrated into the sequel instead and not the original novel!"

The author of the novel passed away without finishing the sequel, which left the everyone frustrated on what would happen afterwards the next chapter of the story.

And the thought of me inside the sequel horrified me as I pondered on ways to verify if I truly got transmigrated into the original version novel or the sequel instead.

Recalling my memories, I stare at her from afar while deep in my thought. suddenly my gaze landed on the snake-shaped amethyst silver ring on her right hand, and immediately surfed through my memories, in order to analyze the relic on her right hand.

However, I can't identify it, and I've never heard nor read of a relic that has a snake-shaped purple amethyst ring in the novel.

And If I can't identify it within my memories, I'll just have to appraise it.

Using [ Appraisal ] on the snake-shaped amethyst silver ring, a blue hologram proceeds to pop up in front of me.

Ding!..

[ The host cannot appraise the relic ]

"WHAT!?!, Impossible!"

I'm already at peak mortal rank, and if I can't appraise such a relic then there would be only one reason why, the relic is higher than peak 1st rank, it meant that the relic is at worst of F- rank.

Relics usually are categorize from G(0th)-SSS(10th) rank, and relics above F ranks cost quite a lot of AC. Even though they are just F ranks, they still cost a lot.

That's only because relics in general are very rare to obtain, as relics have a 1/10 chances of drop rate inside a dungeon or a gate.

If it's one of the heirs of the noble clan who had an relic above F rank at their disposal then it is understandable.

However, how did Aya Mortez manage to get herself a relic that is above F rank, as she isn't even one of the heirs or a member of the noble clan, not only that but there is also heavy surveillance on getting inside a gates and towers, much less a dungeon as they are usually not allowed for people to enter.

Unless she got it from a hidden dungeon or gate, as that's the only plausible conclusion I can come up with.

Although rare, dungeons or gates can form in the wilderness but the chances of it not being raided is very slim.

As I stare at Aya from afar, she noticed my gaze landed on her right hand, and her eyes gradually widened in disbelief.

"Why is she shocked that I can see her relic, is the relic related to disguising one's self?"

Shooking my head, I continue to train in the corner while deep in my thoughts.

***

"Impossible!?! how did that guy see through the disguise I set on my ring!"

Aya was startled by Lo's sudden gaze, as even a 7th bloodmoon ranker can't see through the relic that Aya used. It's due to the fact that it's an SS rank relic she obtained through a hidden dungeon on the outskirts of the human domain.

The hidden dungeon appeared in the outskirts of Lea city. she found this dungeon not by coincidence or luck but with her past regressions.

Aya encountered this dungeon before in her 1st regression, but she was too weak back then before gaving up on it.

However In my 2nd regression she came back to try to obtain the relic inside the hidden dungeon, and due to the several years of fighting experience ahead in time, she cleared the hidden dungeon and obtained the relic called [ Eye of the Seven-headed snake ].

[ Eye of the Seven-headed snake

]

Aya rechecked the status info of the relic, and thought to herself that she didn't find any flaws to it. as the only way for a being to see through the disguise is only, if the individual is higher than 7th bloodmoon rank. which leads to her even more confused about the ongoing situation

'How?!?.. is he higher than 7th bloodmoon rank?!?!?'

It sounds crazy but when Aya thought of this theory, she immediately turned it down and thought that, there is no way for a human to reach higher than 7th bloodmoon rank, and keep thinking to herself that it's just a coincidence for Lo to deeply stare at her hands.

In the past 5 thousand years, there are only a few humans that have reached 7th bloodmoon rank.

The reason for this is due to the restriction placed on us humans. No one knows why humans have this restriction, but the highest rank a human can reach is the 7th bloodmoon rank.

This is the sad truth about humanity, as the humans are the weakest race out of all the races, humans are able to use all the different types of energy in the world of Acendia.

This is due to the adaptability that humans possesses, as not all the races have such high adaptability that humans can handle.

Essentially humans can learn every technique and energy out in the world that the other races possess, but in return they get restricted to reach the 8th sun rank.

Except for a certain individual that have reach past 8th sun rank before, and that is none other than Leo, who is the chosen destiny by the system..

A voice ranged out nearby, Aya turns her head around and saw Professor Anne talking to the students nearby.
