Mica was left speechless as the white-haired young man disappeared into the shadows of the slums. His presence had been like a whirlwind, a force to be reckoned with. She couldn't help but feel drawn to him, even though she knew he was dangerous.
Days turned into weeks, and Mica found herself constantly searching for him in the slums. She was determined to find him, to learn more about him. And then one day, she stumbled upon him sleeping in an alleyway, blood staining the ground around him.
Her heart skipped a beat as she approached him cautiously. She had never been this close to him before, and the sight of him sleeping peacefully made her heart race. As she got closer, she could see the scars on his body, the mark of a life lived in violence.
For a moment, she just stood there, taking in his appearance. Then, mustering all her courage, she gently touched his hair, and muttered, "Thank you for saving me that day. I've been searching for you ever since."
The young man stirred in his sleep, and for a moment Mica feared he would lash out at her. But instead, he opened his eyes and looked at her with a cold, calculating gaze. "What do you want from me?" he muttered, his voice low and menacing.
Mica didn't flinch, she stood her ground, determined to make him understand. "I want to know more about you. I want to understand why you are the way you are. And maybe, just maybe, I can help you find some peace in this world."
"You don't know what you're getting into," the young man lamented, his voice tinged with sadness. "I'm not the kind of person you should be associating with."
But Mica wasn't deterred. She had seen something in him, something worth fighting for. "I know you're not perfect," she voiced softly. "B-But I also know that you're not a heartless killer like what other people comment about, You saved me that day, and I believe there's still some good left in you."
The young man's expression softened, and for a moment he seemed almost perplexed. "You're a very strange girl, my name is Lo" he muttered. "and.. thank you." with that, he closed his eyes and went back to sleep, leaving Mica perplexed on the current on going situation.
Mica stood there for a few minutes, watching Lo sleep. She couldn't help but feel a sense of relief washing over her. It was the first time she had seen him show any sign of vulnerability, any sign of emotion.
As she turned and was about to leave, she heard a faint mutter. "Stay."
Mica froze on the spot, unsure if she had heard correctly. She turns back to Lo, who had opened his eyes and was now looking at her. "Stay," he repeated, his voice soft and gentle. Mica's heart skipped a beat at the word that came out from his voice.
Without hesitating, Mica walked back towards him and sat down next to him. They sat there in silence, the only sound being the faint rustling of leaves in the wind.
It was a peaceful moment, and Mica felt a sense of contentment that she had never felt before. She couldn't explain it, but being with Lo made her feel safe, like nothing in the world could harm her.
They sat there in silence for a while longer, each lost in their own thoughts. Mica couldn't help but wonder what the future would held for them. She knew that the road ahead would be filled with challenges, but she was willing to face them as long as Lo was by her side.
Mica flashed a warm and affectionate smile, she murmured, "I'll stay." as silence descended between the two of them.
After a while, Lo broke the silence. "I don't know what the future holds, but I want you to stay by my side... are you willing to stay with me until the end?"
Mica's heart skipped a beat once again. She had always hoped for something more with him, but she never dared to hope that he felt the same way.
"I want to be with you, and I'm willing to stay with you." she voiced softly, as a smile spreading across her face.
...
Coming back to reality, Lo reluctantly pulled away from Mica's embrace and began to apologize, his voice filled with shame. "I'm sorry for showing that side of myself," he muttered
Mica's expression softened, and she reached out to wipe away his tears. "It's okay," she murmured, her eyes full of understanding and compassion.
"Let's not delve deeper into this topic," Mica voice warmly and comforting. as she had just held Lo in her embrace, and she could feel the pain he had suffered.
"Since we've already finished our food, I can help you with your fundamentals of mana and magic subject," Mica offered kindly, a small smile gracing her lips. She was happy to assist Lo in his studies and was eager to share her knowledge with him.
"Alright, are we going to the library?" Lo inquired as he stares at Mica.
Mica's eyes lit up with excitement as she answered, "Of course, you'll be with me in the library for a while." She was thrilled at the opportunity to not only help Lo with his studies but also to spend some quality time together.
As they left the cafeteria, Mica's blue crystal eyes seemed to sparkle like the ocean under the sun. she felt a rush of emotions, as if she was falling deeply in love with Lo.
'I will never give you away to anyone,' she thought to herself. 'You're mine forever, and I'll make sure to cherish every moment we spend together. Nobody will steal him away, not anymore. THIS TIME HE WILL BE MINE.'
Lo who is following behind Mica in the hall way felt a cold shiver running down his spine as though somebody placed a cursed onto him.
